History

Desperate Souls

While under control of the head knight. The knight uses his powers to force parents to send their kids off to the Ogre War. He later disguises himself as a poor beggar and meets Rumpelstiltskin, who he earlier used his powers to punish him for talking back to the knight. Rumpelstiltskin later kills the Dark One and learns that he was the beggar.

Trivia

Meets Rumpelstiltskin while disguised as a beggar.
He has a special knife that has the Dark One's name on it.
Killed by Rumpelstiltskin, who becomes the next Dark One.
