So next episode (Arrow) isn't looking too good for Black Siren, I just saw the promo and she apparently is saying things to the effect of "I was lying about being good" and is screaming in her Black Siren costume, I'm not quite sure how it gets to that but thats bad for the chances of her making it out alive.
She will make it out alive, I'm sure. They wouldn't kill her off again after the backlash. About the things that she's saying, she's probably just lying to hide her true feelings like she used to do. Also, the promo probably only shows the first two acts of the episode. I really hope that, if she's leaving again, we get a chance to say a proper goodbye
I imagine that she's lying, but they don't have much longer to face the backlash, and they might be committed to Laurel's redemption = death, her leaving might be death, after all we've only missed four characters in the flash forwards, Oliver (dead), Diggle (in the background), Emiko (evil) and Laurel, which means she still can die, I'm not hoping for it but its not impossible.
That hasn't stopped original cast members of long-running famous TV shows before, (see Shelley Long), and Legends cast is getting full, even if they kick out Mona, Charlie leaves, and Nate leaves it will have eight main cast members, and the only one of those I am at all certain will happen, Legends isn't a big fan of letting people leave, Maisie is somehow still on after all.
I doubt they would kill another Laurel Lance, I mean -- the backlash they received last time should be incentive enough. As far as I know, Katie Cassidy hasn't been seen on the Arrow set since "Lost Canary," but her scenes have been mostly in-studio anyways. She has cut her hair though, which means -- at least on Arrow, she has finished filming, cause Season Seven still has a couple more episodes to film. But I think Legends of Tomorrow wrapped up a while back? So, she could've moved on to there, because I never saw the point of them bringing Caity Lotz back on Arrow, if that wasn't the plan? I just know I am going to be suuuuuper salty if I have to watch another Laurel die.
(Also I hope it is okay I add my two-cents here, I keep up with all the DC shows as well.) xD
Nah, its cool, I just brought it up here because I know we're fine with just talking on our walls. Since we currently have no clue how Caity's coming back we can't be sure what the reasoning is, and considering that they in no way stopped Keiynan joining rumors I think we would have heard more stuff than just we want it (yeah, I know, I can be a pessimist).

Legends wrapped a while ago, yeah. I also heard about Katie not filming since 7.18
Joe's not dying. At least not this season, I'm sure. I mean, word on the street is that Cisco is out, and Caitlin may leave as well, and Wells might leave after Crisis, too
I'm sticking to my crazy theory, but I do doubt Caitlin leaving, they have enough arc stuff that is definitely not getting resolved this year, and not likely the midseason of next, but I could see them resolving Cisco's stuff by the end or midseason.
❤️🖤💛💕💜💙 The time has come to talk of many memes. Of bows and arrows and superheroes and Olicity and Queens And why TGA is so damn hot And yes, canaries need more scenes... But wait just one minute before we go and do all that For this makes me out of breath To have this not small chat
Felicity and I are a very tight two But after one through seven we will be saying goodbye to you
I thank you all for the time we’ve shared The elevators we have climbed The monsters we have faced and scared And The burgers we have dined I will keep her in my heart for always And I hope that you can too Because she would not be alive if it weren’t for all of you 💕
Who the hell does that make the main cast? We got Oliver, Dinah, Rene, Emiko, Diggle and Roy? I guess that means that we have more room for Thea (crossing fingers for her return), Connor, Mia and William. Felicity has been the second most important character since S3-S4, and since she can't die we have no clue how they'll write her out.
#BringTheaBack, and Laurel not leaving after next episode is great, though while I doubt she'll leave at this point it is still possible to leave after Season 7 ends, though that means I can still hope for my preferred spin-off option, Birds of Prey, and since I'm pretty sure they are writing Felicity out of the Arrowverse that opens up room for Babs! Also I'm thinking that based on how Felicity would be leaving I think that the article you showed me (us?) awhile ago is about her after all.
Cool, if its Stephen that means that we might still see a bit of Felicity (who despite her later season problems I still love) hiding out in a couple shows (or on the still completely hypothetical Birds of Prey, cause even though I love Babs more she's still completely hypothetical too).
I think that whatever we see going on in S8 will be really different from the first 7 and we won't have much of the tech support stuff, and without Felicity there isn't much of reason to make sure it stays around.
It looks to me like Laurel's Black Canary costume, and she's very blonde, so I can't see it as Julianna and the hair doesn't really look like Sara. As I look closer at the second image there I'm more and more convinced that it is Katie.
I don't think she's joining the story line in the future. But I guess now, we can confirm it is Laurel as the Black Canary in the set images for the last episode, which explains why she could get away with cutting her hair -- because she was wearing a wig anyways. I know Katie later confirmed, she will be back in Season Eight, as well and I don't think I see the future plot going any further than this season, but I guess we will see? xD
I highly doubt that 722 and 801 will feel like different seasons besides the lack of Felicity, which means that I also highly doubt they'll get rid of the flash forwards for the final ten episodes (which includes Crisis, I own the original CoIE in trade form and while most of the heroes spanned earths, they also spanned time, they travelled throughout several WWII's, the Legion future, the Great Disaster, the time of Atlantis, the dawn of man, dinosaur times and several issues where the earths and times merged together and started randomly appearing in 1985 Earth-1). Considering they just gave her a send-off in the present at least for awhile (and oh yay! Earth-2 now has another superhero, maybe she'll join Jesse's team [which is definitely called Infinity Inc]) and brought her into the future story she's definitely joining that side of things for at least most of the rest of the season.
There are rumors that there's a future-set spin-off coming after the show ends. I honestly think that the Katherine McNamara, Ben Lewis, Joseph David-Jones and Andrea Sixtos will be promoted to series regulars for the next season
I’m feeling like they might be setting up two spin-offs, the more obvious one being the future spin-off but I just have a feeling that this might be setting up a Canaries/Birds of Prey thing.
Also, this is the first year that the Arrowverse (and except for those three episodes of Legends between Jax leaving and Wally joining any of the Arrowverse shows) has at any time a mostly female cast (20-17; three men have left different shows since the start of the season, and several woman have joined Legends and Supergirl), which I mean Once managed to do for almost half of its 7-season run, and it may have taken seven years and only been in place for sixty-five days (my side of things, for Matheus I’m pretty sure it’s been sixty-six).
Schroeswald wrote: More hints that the new four (Connor, William, Zoe, and Mia) will be regulars next year, the flash forwards will be definitely intact and JJStroke will recur (at least according to TVLine) next year.
I saw it. The idea of a Connor arc makes me happy, especially when we have a new Deathstroke
I think we might see Slade’s sons and (if they’ve stopped the dumb band based on something they threw out) even Slade if we’re lucky in the Deathstroke arc.
I must admit, the reason I think we haven’t seen Diggle and Lyla in the future yet is because in the Crisis they become the superheroes Green Lantern and Harbinger (After all, what’s the point of her being important if you don’t use her in the Crisis).
Apparently Colin is leaving Chicago Med, which means he’s definitely joining Arrow as a regular next year :p. But in all seriousness we might see him a few more in Season 8 and that’s all we really need from him (Not Willa though, we need her back).
Well, he'll appear in 7.21. I don't really know what he'll do, but my theory is that he is going to appear as a hallucination to Oliver, and then will be revealed that he is not a hallucination and is alive & working with the Ninth Circle
She's eliminated all possible rivals to the throne, and that's why they had Emiko be partially at fault for the Queen Gambit, they need the final villain to be thematically and emotionally connected the origin, that's why they had W!Rumple be the final bad guy on Once, he connects thematically and emotionally to Season 1, its also why Fiona would have been a thematically effective final villain, somewhat manipulating every single villain in the entire show.
That's number five on my list of possible mains confirmed! Since number 1 is a foregone conclusion, they just haven't actually said the words, and they kept reassuring that Laurel would return without saying the words "Laurel will still be a main cast member next year", that just leaves 16 characters for confirmation either way. And since we know Connor will be a main that means that they'll 100% upgrade Mia and William, and makes Zoe even more likely than before.
It's an interesting thing, I'll keep my tabs on it.
I think that it should have three sides, the flash forwards with Connor, Mia, William and Zoe, the Star City part with Dinah, Rene, Roy, Laurel and Diggle and the Crisis setup with the Monitor, Oliver and Lyla, but they should all have similar tones and whatnot.
Ok so, I'm really excited for the final season. John Barrowman, Susanna Thompson, Colin Donnell and Josh Segarra are returning for 801, Rila Fukushima is returning for 802, Byron Mann is also back at some point, and now, Willa is back in a recurring role. Plus, they confirmed that Season Eight will highly focus on Oliver, Laurel and John. This season will be awesome
Just finished Arrow and Batwoman, both great, they are clearly the real penultimate episode of Arrow (as that it should have been named after a Bruce Springsteen song) and midseason finale of Batwoman.
Also, Oliver’s journey starts in Purgatory, and it ends, somewhere else, goshy, I wish there was a name for somewhere better than purgatory, but I just can’t think of one...</sarc>
Finished with Crisis 2, so are we supposed to act like we don’t know Barry, Jefferson and Oliver will be paragons? Cause it feels like we are, which is weird, like we knew who the paragons were gonna be, Oliver, Barry, Kara, Sara, Kate, Jefferson and Person X, and we found Person X, it’s Brandon’s Clark, who else are the other 3 going to be?
I wouldn't be so sure on Jefferson being a paragon due to the fact that Cress Williams is only on episodes 3 and 5. Tonight we are getting Stargirl, Lucifer, Dina Meyer's Oracle and possibly Ashley Scott's Huntress and Rachel Skarsten's Black Canary
That’s good, this was the first episode in awhile that ratings actually matter for so I’m glad it’s doing well. I imagine it won’t keep that spot because of the finale but it’s still a very good showing.
My god, The Flash is caring so little about secret identities, not only did Chester learn Barry's secret identity but he just joined Team Flash (bringing the team to 11 members, 3 of them guests).
Also as long as it sticks the landing when it loses Ray, this season of Legends might just end up being better than S3.
Also, why are there so many guests just acting like mains on the Arrowverse this season? The Flash has Allegra, Kamilla, maybe Chester and Sue depending on how this goes, Legends has Behrad and Gary, Black Lightning has Brandon, Odell and Grace, Supergirl seems to have Lex and Arrow had Lyla.
The Flash Promotes Brandon McKnght to Series Regular for Season 7.... Well, I'm disappointed. I really don't like Chester, because he's just a generic version of literally any tech support of the Arrowverse.
They promoted the actual lamest one possible, I’d even prefer Kamilla because she’s just bland, not a copy of anyone (but I’d rather have Allegra and Sue), but that means Cisco is going bye bye, which sucks because Cisco is a good character.
And Legends S5 has earned the title of best season of the Arrowverse this year by not messing up what should have ruined the show, while the other two amazing seasons tripped and fell on their faces doing something that should've been pretty easy, its getting real close to challenging S3, another few of these episodes and it will dethrone it.
Also, I did not realize how different Zari's voice is as NuZari as opposed to Zari 1.0 until we hear the two having a conversation. Also also, Mick's leaving, I think, it really seems that way, I can't see him stay on the show. Also also also I forgot that [SPOILER] died in this episode until right before actually happened, so I got the benefit of thinking "they'll be okay" AND knowing "they're gonna die, don't cry, you already knew it".
