  • Just a thought I had but Kronos was killed with the Olympian Crystal. We know Mount Olympus is the place souls go to upon leaving the Underworld if they don't go to the Worse Place.

The Olympian Crystal originally destroyed the souls of those it killed before the writers retconned it by saying Hades was lying and with Robin's spirit showing up later on.

So if the Crystal doesn't actually destroy souls, would that mean Kronos' soul went to another place beyond even Mount Olympus after he died or is he just wandering around Mount Olympus as a spirit? Or would his soul actually have been destroyed and he now ceases to exist?

Does the Crystal only kill mortals and other non-deities and send their souls to the Underworld, Olympus or Worse Place and erase the souls of deities from existence entirely?

    • My opinions is that since love is the most powerful magic of all that while there soul isn’t in any realm they still reside in the hearts of those who love them (which is how Regina communicates with Robin in 722), so Hades might still exist in Zelena but it seems that no one loves Kronos so he no longer exists.

Interesting idea but I think the writers confirmed Robin went to Mount Olympus and is currently residing there. The Crystal was retconned to simply killing and not erasing people after the backlash following Robin's death. So I assume Hades is in the Worse Place. But Kronos is a thrickier matter since he already lived on Mount Olympus and was there when he died. It's just a random thought I had few days ago and I asked myself what that means for Kronos.

I assume one of three things. He's either wandering around on Olympus in Spirit form or elsewhere beyond Olympus like Elysium or something, is actually erased from existence entirely or is still alive albeit incorporeal and intangible similar to how the Protogenoi and Titans were still technically alive after being killed in mythology.

    • I think the reason why Robin went to Mount Olympus is because he sacrificed himself to save the love of his life (since as Schrowald said, love is the most powerful magic of all). But other than that, I believe what Hades said is true, that the crystal destroying someone's soul. So, it's possible that Kronos is ceased to exist.

Just like Athena in God of War 3 game, who sacrificed herself to save Zeus, and was brought to a higher existance as a soul wandering in the world.

Whatever the hell that meant. It looks like she's just straight up dead by GOW4.

As for Kronos, it's possible he is just gone as you said.

    • I think that they just said Robin was in a better place, which while Mount Olympus is the “better place” I’d say living in the hearts of those you love is a better place.

But if you were talking in the context of the show then that would seem to imply he's just straight up gone instead of existing in Mount Olympus which qute frankly I think wouldn't be a better place.

    • He is not straight up gone in my imagination, to me his soul lives on in a state of bliss, basically what Belle and Gold are experiencing except without his true love, inside Roland, Regina, sort of Margot and a lot of the Merry Men, and he sort of appears to those who need him when they need him, sometimes physically (not spoilers at all to my S8 :p), sometimes in dreams and sometimes in their minds.
