  • I don't why its stated that the epilouge scene of "And They Lived..." takes place after the United Realms was created becuase it has to take place before.

Regina and everyone who was cursed in Hyperion Heights returned to the future before she cast the most recent Dark Curse. Otherwise, had she combined ALL the realms (Including the New Enchanted Forest) in the past before the Coven of the Eight forced Regina to cast their dark curse, it would've caused a massive time paradox and would make all the flashbacks that take place after "Pretty in Blue" impossible to occur, and as a result the United Realms would no longer exist.

    • In W113, Alice's daughter is like 6/8 years old from the end of OUATIW. We know that OUATIW takes place during early S2.

The rest is a question of timeline. S7 does not take place 6/8 years after S2, so the merge of realms happened before OUATIW's final sene. As Victorian England was a realm in the United Realms, it means that OUATIW's final scene takes place in the UR.

    • Yes, exactly. So, the epilogue scene should've happened sometime soon before or soon after Regina went to the New Enchanted Forest to help adult Henry.

The epilogue scene of Once Upon a Time HAS to take place AFTER they get back to the future. Many years after the epilouge scene of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

    • OUATIW 1x13 took place after Lake of the Lady (because the hole caused by the Wraith has been repaired), most likely later.

Prince Neal was born in 3x20. is about 8 years old at the end of 7x22.

Let's say Alice's daughter is 8 in the epilogue; assuming she was conceived a few months after the marriage, she was probably born around 3x20 too. Even if she's 6, the 7x22 epilogue takes no more than 2 years after the Wonderland epilogue.

Granted, it's all based on assumptions, but it makes sense.

Yes, I get that but that boy in the coronation scene can't be Neal Nolan despite what Josh Dallas (and David) say. (Josh Dallas said Neal was about 9 or 10). Robin was born after Neal Nolan, and should only be 2-3 years older than him because she brought back in time by Drizella's dark curse for that long.

In "The Eight Witch", Robin told Regina she was 25. Therefore, Neal Nolan would have to be no younger 25 in the coronation scene.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense why Robin is so much older than Neal but that boy, it was obviously Neal. And if that's Neal than the logic adds up.

    • I mean you could argue, Regina's realm merger curse took them to 2022 or 2023 but this doesn't work because past Robin and past Zelena didn't leave Storybrooke until 2031 and they had no knowledge of the United Realms.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • I wouldn’t consider anything the same timeline.

Regina could have easily merged realms in a diverted timeline.

Let’s say Wonderland ends in 2018 to 2020 (as season 2 is in 2012).

Neal’s age might as well not be considered given adult Robin is there. Worst Case Scenario: It’s like 2020. Robin aged normally and bare minimum spent 8 years in SB as we saw 5 year old her and she did track for 3 years.

Regina’s merging curse isn’t given any timeframe besides late/post-2017.

There no information to determine where the last scene in Wonderland takes place besides Victorian England.

LOL How did I even make such a mistake? Yeah, you're right about that.

@AJDSOUAT As for Robin being older than Neal, it's implied she did not age normally as Regina says "I'm not here to discuss timelines" in 7x10. My headcanon is that she and Zelena lived in another realm for some time and Robin aged faster.

See, I thought about that too but Robin seemed to only know Storybrooke as her only home until she moved to the New Enchhanted Forest when she was 18. This really wouldn't be an issue had she grown up somewhere besides Storybrooke.

This is canon. Remember this discussion from that episode:

R: She sure grew up fast

      Z: Not in our realm!

So Robin did spend some time between the 7x11 flashbacks and the 7x14 flashbacks in another realm...

Exactly, it makes sense. They didn't mention it a lot or explain in full details (which is where I think people got confused) but the lines from 710 show us why Robin is so much older than Neal.

Yes, I remember that. I've re-watched that scene several times.

In "Secret Garden", Robin told Zelena and I quote. "I'm 18. You can't control me." So, she moved to live in the New Enchanted Forest once she became a legal adult.

Here's some dialouge to further my point Robin never left Storybrooke until she was 18"

Robin: Back from where I'm from, I was never alone. That's when I felt the most trapped...Seriously, Storybrooke was insufferably quaint. Everyone knew your name and all your buisness, and one night I had enough.

      Alice: What'd you do?

Robin: I hotwired the Sheriff's yellow bug. I stole it. I would've hit New York by morning if she hadn't caught me but for 8 glorius mintues it was just me and that bug and the wide open road.

      ---

Robin: It's called a smartphone. It held my entire life back home.

      ---

Robin was seeking adventure and she didn't get that until she moved to the New Enchanted Forest. Yes, Zelena told Regina, Robin didn't grow up fast in their realm [presumably Storybrooke] but as I mentioned, she was a legal adult when she left Storybrooke. So, I don't think that exchange of dilaouge has any merit.

If that's too say time in the New Enchanted Forest goes faster than time in Storybrooke, that would mean WAY more than 18 years passed in the New Enchanted Forest while Robin was growing up in Storybrooke, which I seriously doubt.

I have done my research on Once's timeline.

    • I think the evidence vis-a-vis everyone's ages shows that Regina merged the timeframes when she merged the realms. So the epilogue of "...And They Lived" most likely belongs to the original timeline before Gothel's curse sent people back in time and the United Realms existed. Since Alice's daughter questions how Wonderland could exist.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Quite a few things bothered me with this new realm.

      1. Lucy was born after Hope, so they should've been around the same age.
      2. Pinocchio reverting back to childhood.
      3. Neal was born before Robin, but now they're ages apart. (makes sense if the younger version of Robin still existed, though)
      4. If time was unaltered, then Henry's journey in the New Enchanted Forest took place when Regina became Queen before joining her son.
      5. Magic comes at a price.

It seems this curse that brought the realms together somehow created a time paradox. And the scenery was quite confusing if you try to make sense of it. Also, if magic comes at a price, then surely even though everyone Regina loved gifted a piece of their own, a price was paid. Either the temporal confusion was the price, or it was something else.
