  • I know DVDs are usually released in August sooo when are we getting news on it?

      Preparing Editor Spell
    • I’ve been wondering this too. Should be out in August or a little before that. Some final seasons release on dvd earlier since the show is over, but idk of Once will do this.

so you have season 1-4 on dvd?

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Yeah. Somehow it takes years and years for the seasons to come out, even though the German synchronization has already been done. You can order the French DVD from Amazon and it has the German dub available, lol :D

And, if you notice, the back of the cover says "Special Features: Cast Interviews"... I'm kind of inclined to say that the only bonus features we're getting is the cast interviews we have already seen (those ones where it was revealed that Lucy's cursed last name was Vidrio).

    • I imagine they will go all out with this release. That listing seems sketchy to me. I believe it's a bootleg, look at their other products...and they sell disc converters. Whatever you guys do, don't buy it. Not just for legal reasons (the show is over) but because of quality reasons. This will probably be a rushed product without any of the features we'll get for a comparable price on Blu-ray (the sells come fast). That means no curt scenes, no official menus or any chance of the goodies they might have prepared.

It'd be nice if they included OUAT in Wonderland as a bonus and thankyou for us buying these through the years. And even though it's late, a digital version would be welcome.

I think they want to cash in. People will buy the Season 7 DVD, then maybe the complete series box set, if they release one.

I have seasons 1-3 on USA Blu-ray (and seasons 1-6 on Brazilian DVD), and i really want to have the rest of the seasons on Blu-ray. Takes long because of the high import taxes.

When I think season 7, Jacindarella is not my fondest memory. And I didn't even hate her as much as some poeple. This cover should have went to Henry.  Holographic with young Henry (even very young) and adult Henry but in the style of the last four cases.

While I don't disagree that Ella isn't exactly the focal point of this season, we always knew this would be the DVD/Blu-ray cover, because they always use the offical poster for the season as the cover. Those apple based covers you are talking about, were all the offical posters for those respective seasons. I would have been shocked if we had gotten anything other than Ella on the motorcycle this year.

Yeah, like I doesn’t matter what you think about Jace/Ella. ABC picks out the stuff and they were most definitely going with the season poster as they did with other seasons.

Expecting anything different was fairly unlikely as all 7’s marketing was that poster.

Season 7 was completely different from the rest of the seasons, thus the cover shouldn't have had the same style as the previous seasons did (in my opinion)! Besides, even though the marketing for Season 7 was terrible, the poster is kind of good! It's magical, mysterious, the colours match the show perfectly and it features the first Latina Cinderella -which is a big deal, even though Jacinda was one of the worst characters of the season ;-)

The official ad for the Blu-ray (& the DVD) set shows the cover and says "22 Epic Episodes on 5 Discs PLUS Spellbinding Bonus Features! I imagine that they'll include Deleted Scenes, Bloopes and a nice featurette about the ending of the show! That's why I said it was nitpicking...

But that doesn't change the fact that it's still weird and looks out of place. I'm just trying to figure out why they went that route, if it was because there were no new Rumple shots or if they had something deeper in mind. Or if it's just a lazy over sight. I would have at least expected him to be dressed as he was when he was in the Edge of Realms. I'm guessing they just never took any good Rumple shots and didn't want to leave a major character off of the promo for the final season. I don't know why I'm complaining about consitency on an otherwise fine ad when they can't even be consistent within the show.

Well, I think its because Rumple pretty much did a 180 and he's so different  from the EF Rumple. If they had Rumple in EF clothes it'd feel like its the WR Rumple.

That's true. Golden skinned Rumplestiltskin might have been too much, I agree. (Even though he was in a few episodes) but I really liked his Edge of Realms and Mr.Gold in leather look.  I'm still going to buy it and all, I'm just commenting on the odd mix they have here. :)

    • The Ivy stuff was kinda cool I guess. I'm not sure why I didn't recognize before that Ivy probably wanted to keep Henry apart from Jacinda initially. Lucy was harsh nonetheless.

Ivy had a line before she asks for forgiveness from Anastasia which was like "it got dark and twisted" which I don't really like because of how vague it is. The "I don't know how to be the big sister" is nice though. It's too bad the next episode she almost kills her! And says some shenanigans that Eloise has been plotting to pit them against eachother the entire time and how it's her fault without including herself.

      "Yeah, I know, I'm a bitch."

      Also, Eloise really is awful.

"I would never torture [Anastasia]. She's not my own daughter."

Also! Belfry's accent goes everywhere in that scene

I think she says “she’s like my own daughter.”

    • I think they should've kept the two scenes with Ivy and Gothel, especially the second one with Anastasia which was pretty important to the plot. I didn't quite understand why Gothel wanted the Dark One's power, that seemed random to me. Maybe she just wanted the Guardian (aka Anastasia) to absorb the Dark One's power (like Alice was about to do in 718) in order to strengthen her coven or smth like that.

I wanted the extentend version of Belle's death scene to be included tho =(

I believe that the "Homecoming" audio commentary and a few deleted scenes are exclusive to the Blu-ray.

They are. I have the dvd and it only has like 4 deleted scenes (the Drizella, Victoria, Jacinda and Lucy garden scene, The food truck scene, the scene where Anastasia throws Drizella and Gothel and Drizella holds Gothel at gunpoint and a scene with Roni and Zelena going to the ceremony at the castle.) and the Hyperion Heights commentary. Has anyone heard the Homecoming one?

    • I ordered the blu-ray from Amazon, but they must be stuck on a boat somewhere, because Amazon said it won't be in until later this month. Has anyone actually gotten the blu-ray, or are they all stuck on a boat?

    • Mine came within two days but I got the dvd and had overnight shipping so it might be different for the Blu Ray.

    • A lot of Ivy scenes deleted. What a shame...

It seems there weren't any deleted scenes with Facilier and Regina

I liked the Wish Realm scene but where did that pond come from? In 6x10 there wasn't a pond close the Snow/Charming statue

The Eloise/Anastasia/Ivy scene was the best one
