  • For Alice/Tilly and Robin/Margot if I want to show they are married on their family trees, would I need to do it on both pages for both characters (original and cursed)? Or would I just add it on their Hyperion Heights pages? I wasn't sure, because of the eventual merge, which page would be the main page to edit for these characters.

    • You can't put it, because we never got confirmation of marriage, just a vague intent to marry. We never even saw a proposal.

    • I think the show made it pretty clear that Alice/Robin is endgame, why else throw the Robin asking for Hook's blessing, and make her wear a ring in the Coronation scene, I just went back to verify that scene and she does has a ring, they both deserve to be in each others relationship/family tree, as it's not only the show's only well developed and cannon LGBT relationship, but also the show makes it pretty clear that they ended up together, should they have added a scene of Robin proposing? Definitely. Could they have addressed/cleared it up better? Sure. But the ending was packed, and they at least gave time to address it, they wouldn't have wasted the time in setting that up, if it wasn't to establish that they are endgame and getting married, and this is the way they did it, whether there could have been better ways or not, shouldn't stop Alice from being part of the Robin's family tree.

I just saw in another thread that Rose said they were engaged by the series finale.  I agree with AnimationFan18.  There was only so much time in the finale.  There were lots of things *I* would have liked to have seen and I never understand the choices writers, directors, and especially editors make on what to include and what to leave out.

There are other relationships between people who weren't married that are included in people's family trees!  These include abusive "relationships" like Hook and Gothel and other non-relationships based on trickery.  If people who didn't even have a relationship are included just b/c someone got impregnated, then surely there is a way to indicate that a character is engaged to the love of her life!

Regardless of whether or not we saw a proposal, we know if Robin were to propose, Alice would say yes.  They've done a good job in a short amount of time showing the positive impact they've had on each other, how good Robin/Margot is to Alice/Tilly, how crazy Alice/Tilly is about Robin/Margot, and that they are meant to be together (in The Enchanted Forest, in Hyperion Heights, in Storybrooke and as cursed characters, even after they'd forgotten who they were.

I know nothing about editing this Wiki.  I just joined to explain why Alice & Robin should be included in each other's family tree, since I didn't see anything in the character description that said anything about a love interest or relationship status.  It's odd that such an important relationship to both characters is not even mentioned!

So how do we indicate this relationship?

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Alice and Robin should be listed as engaged, not married. Relationships like Hook and Gothel, have to be on the tree, simply because it resulted in a child.

I know Hook & Gothel are listed only because they had a child, but are all couples you include on character's profiles only included because they had a child?  Or are there some relationships included that DIDN'T produce children or between characters who WEREN'T married?  I don't even know most of the characters over the course of 7 years, much less have the time to check every character's page to argue this point.

Good grief, Alice's UNCLE is listed on her family tree!  (I'm pretty sure THEY didn't have a child together.)  Yet he's on there, but her fiancee and love of her life isn't.  Things that make you go, "Hmmm."

My point is that I didn't see any mention anywhere of the Alice & Robin (or Margot & Tilly) relationship.  I looked at Robin's, Alice's, and Tilly's pages.  I agree that they should be listed as engaged.  However, they are not listed AT ALL.  As I said in my last comment just above this one, I'm new on this site and IDK how to go about getting that changed.

    • If (and, only if) we have a clear source stating that they are engaged, we can add them.

Otherwise, we don't. Even if they are endgame, that is not the point of our trees :/

For example, Dorothy and Ruby are endgame but they're not on each other family tree ^^'

    • I might be mistaken, but I think there was an EW article confirming it.

What source is acceptable?  I can ask Rose during the live chat tomorrow night (although there's no guarantee the hosts will ask my question).  She's a guest on the Afterbuzz TV network's Once Upon a Time review show.  All 4 hosts have been gushing about Alice & Robin since 7x10.  So they might want some clarification from her, even if I don't ask.  Would video of her confirming their engagement be an acceptable source?

Or how about if I track down that (I'm assuming print) interview someone mentioned in which Rose talked about them being engaged and that she wore the ring at the coronation?  Would that be a clear source?  Would a tweet from Rose be acceptable, or does it have to be from Adam or from OUAT?

I don't put Dorothy & Ruby in the same league as Alice & Robin!  I never even used the term, "endgame" to describe Alice & Robin.  Those are your words, and AnimationFan18's words.  Alice & Robin were a lot more than just endgame.  They had a well-developed love story that transcended time and space and they were together even as different characters and in multiple realms.  I'm happy for Ruby & Dorothy, but their story doesn't even come close, even if they were endgame.

What is the point of your trees?  Why is Alice's uncle considered important to include on her tree?  Do they only show blood relatives?  If so, is there some area where romantic relationships between unmarried people who did not produce offspring are listed?

OK, I just checked Regina's page and I see that Daniel is included b/c they were engaged, even though they didn't have children, but her relationship w/ Robin Hood (M) is not, even though, to my knowledge, he was her great love, so I'm a little clearer on that now.

Found the source and used it as a source. Rose did choose a big ring to show that Alice said yes.

      It has been added :)

THANK YOU!!  Yay, yay, yay!  It's funny b/c I had looked up and read that article and was just coming over here to post the link and what Rose said about Alice's ring!  LOL  Gotta love Rose.  Did you add it to both Alice and Robin's pages?

Also, I'm a little confused about this merging of realms.  Does that mean that Margot & Tilly no longer exist?  I mean, we saw 2 Rumples, 2 Hooks, and 2 Henrys (albeit of different ages), but what happened to everyone else's doppelganger?  I can see where Margot & Tilly would be moving in together in Hawthorne Heights, but not be engaged.  I actually love that scene.  Margot shows Tilly a pic of an apartment and asks what she thinks, and Tilly doesn't even look.  "Don't have to see it.  I love it.  As long as it comes with a built-in Margo, that's all I need."  LOL  But does Hawthorne Heights actually no longer exist?

Right now, I am going to go look at Alice and Robin's pages to see the changes!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!

First off, it is Hyperion Heights, not Hawthorne Heights. As for Tilly and Margot, they don't have 2 versions, they are simply the cursed names of Alice and Robin, so they are in SB with everyone else.

Duh!  I have no idea why I said Hawthorne Heights!  LOL  I don't even know of any such place, at least consciously.  Man, I can't stop laughing about it now and wondering where that came from.  Thanks for correcting me.  I know it's Hyperion Heights.  What a weird brain fart!

Thanks for explaining.  I find all the realms and entities confusing and this Wiki has separate entries for all 4 characters.

How long does it take for an edit to appear on a character page?  I checked Alice & Robin's pages a short while ago and the family-tree edit wasn't there.

Just depends on when someone gets around to do it. I'd do it myself, but I've never edited the family trees, so I'm not sure how that works.

I tried doing it the other day, but the coding is hard to understand, I actually had to wind up Googling it to understand how to do it, but then held off actually editing it to post this thread and make sure the addition was allowed.

So I thought she had done it, but maybe she submitted it and it has to be approved by an editor? (Lady Junky is a Content Mod, but I'm not sure what content she mods!)  :o)  I also vaguely remember something about changes needing 5 votes up from the community or something.  (I read the information the site gives when we first sign up, but it was pretty overwhelming, and I couldn't keep things straight, but I thought I saw that changes have to have at least 5 affirmative votes to accept a source.)  Did I hallucinate that, too, the same way I keep talking about Hawthorne Heights, which only exists in my head? LOL!

If sources need to be accepted by the community, is there somewhere we do that?  We already have 5 votes just in the threads discussing this.
