  • The most obvious choice seems like it's in NEF, of course. But the problem is that if the tower is in NEF, and the events that happen in the tower during 7x07 happen simultaneously with the Wish Realm Defeat of the EQ, that means that the Wish Realm must've existed before the Queen wished it into existence in 6x10. Which it didn't, since WR was created by a genie wish. Either this or genie wishes do have the power to change the past.

A way to solve the conumdrum would be to make it so Gothel is a Wish Realm character and the tower was in the Wish Realm. But all the evidence points to it being in NEF (since all Wish Realm characters are counterparts from EF and Gothel doesn't exist in the EF).

    • Regina took a walk through a forest from #Resist and got there. Drizella wandered from the manor and got there. The tower is in NEF.

Wish Queen said the tower was in a distant realm.

WR is being talked about elsewhere and that's a can of worms.

I did make a thread and in that other thread that WR might be in the same world as NEF (and NAgrabah).

I know that it's logically in NEF, but if so, either:

      a) Genie wishes can affect the past and the Laws of Magic remain inconsistent.

      b) NEF is the Wish Realm.

And neither of these choices seem very... logical either.

Well, need to gather more evidence...but they might never mention WR again, lol.

    • Gothel's Tower is in NEF. Wish Realm existed before the wish, clearly. The writers obviously changed their mind regarding it.

That's a real-world explanation for a fictional event. They changed their minds. Sure, okay, that's clear.

But that doesn't offer a fictional explanation for the show's events. Which makes it a plot hole. It's canon that the Wish Realm was created by the wish. Plot hole.

I'm just going to assume NEF is an unexplored part of the Wish Realm.

    • We can put it in this way. The WR became part of the reality once it was created and it has its own timeline. The NEF may be part of that timeline or is connected to it somehow. Don't forget that exist infinite possibilities.

Accodring to Adam, we can't connect NEF time with WR time and extrapolate those things.

    • Maybe do you think that the NEF was a base realm that other realms build off of? Okay, that didn't come out like my mind wanted it to... so, what if there are CATEGORIES of realms. Like EF is one, along with Neverland, our world, etc. And then theres another category like NEF, Wish Realm, etc.

Or maybe Gothel is powerful enough to transport buildings.
