  • Consistent with on-screen information and the stories on which they are based, Zeus, Hades and their father Kronos originate from the dominion of the Greek gods, Mount Olympus.

However, Poseidon, one of the "big three" gods and brother to Zeus and Hades is not included due to lack of on-screen or canon references. Poseidon is instead listed as an EF character. Similarly, the sea goddess of old, Ursula is listed as an EF character. However, in the cases of both Poseidon and Ursula, I believe that there is a severe lack of any backstory that allows us to credit them as EF characters. As there is also lack of evidence to list Poseidon as coming from Mount Olympus (though a logical conclusion), and lack of any backstory for Ursula, I propose that we list both as neutral characters.

    • I disagree. Doing that would mean that we're assuming all gods originate from Mount Olympus. And that's speculation.

We know they are some "types" of gods, as Ursula is a older god even for Poseidon. What does it mean? Poseidon is a deity which appeared after Ursula, so that could mean they don't have the same origin. If they are "different types" of gods, their origin would be different. Yes, what I am doing is also speculation, but that's the point. If we can speculate on their origin, it means that there is room for endless possibilties; including the one where Poseidon and Ursula are from the EF.

If it is so bothering to have them as EF characters, we could list them as FTL characters? But even so, I thought that - in some cases - we give the characters the color of the first place they appeared in the timeline?

I think that you may have misinterpreted the point I was trying to make. My argument is that as we have a great lack of backstory for the origins of Poseidon and the sea goddess Ursula, we should have their infoboxes neutral instead of speculatively listing them as EF characters.

I am not proposing we list them as Mount Olympus characters, nor do I personally believe that Ursula originates from there either. See the article Nyx for what I mean; black, neutral infoboxes.

I know what you meant and I know what is a neutral infobox ^^ What I am saying is that they could also be from EF, or at least FTL. Not like we have proof they're coming from somewhere else.

And we tend to list characters from the first place they appeared in their timeline.
