  • Since alot of the items are types of clothings, I suggest an 'Articles of Clothing' Category. These are all the items that would fit into the category:

(Baelfire's Shawl, Concealing Gloves, Crown Jewel of Agrabah, Cyrus' Talisman, Emma's Red Leather Jackets, Enchanted Cloak, Enchanted Cuffs, Enchanted Helm, Genie Bracelets, Jefferson's Hat, Magic Gauntlet, Oz Pendants, Protective Necklace, Regina's Engagement Ring, Ruth's Engagement Ring, Sea Bracelets, Six-Leaf Clover, Sorcerer's Hat, Tracking Bracelets, Wraith Amulet)

    • Sounds good to me.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • I don't like "Articles of Clothing" :/ Why not just "Clothing"?

And for necklace, bracelets, etc... I'd rather have a "Jewelry" category rather than Clothing ^^

    • Agree with Lady's suggestion.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • I agree that Clothing is better than Articles of Clothing.

If we split it into two categories ("Clothing" and "Jewelry"), going by Lola's list we'd have only seven pages in the Clothing category (and 13 in Jewelry) which seems a little small? I guess it'd be okay, though.

What if we just named the category "Clothing and Jewelry"?

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Would be too long, and unnecessary. The point of two categories is to make the distinction. Plus, 7 pages for a category is good ^^

Helm is a type of hat, so clothing.

Shoes are considered accesories, not clothing. At least, that's what I always saw ^^'

Yes. Shoes are an article of clothing.

So you go everywhere barefoot? No, shoes are generally required if you go somewhere, so it would be clothing, not an accesory.

... This has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that shoes are accesories XD Clothing does not mean you it is necessary x)

Plus, I know that a lot of shops are using this expression about what they're selling "Clothes & Shoes".

Edit: Just digging and I found that shoes are indeed under accesories or footwears. But not clothing.

Clothing doesn't necessarily mean it is something you must wear at all times, but accesory means it is an optional thing to wear, and shoes are very rarely optional in public. Here's the dictionary definition of an accesory:

an object or device that is not essential in itself but adds to the beauty, convenience, or effectiveness of something else

Probably because shoes aren't made of cloth. In America at least though, if you tell someone to put on their clothes, they would know that includes shoes. Yes, tecnically we could make a footwear category, but that's only the silver slippers and the glass slippers then, right?

    • Shoes are technically accessories, but by that logic so are hats. I think we can include accessories that aren't jewelry in the clothing category for simplicity.

Why don't we make this easy and just make the category clothing and accsesories (which would than include anything that can be worn). That way we don't have to argue about what hats, shoes, capes, etc. are.

You can't "rename" a category like you rename a page, even admins ^^' That's not something Wikia made possible. To "rename" it, you must replace the old one by the new one.

Just used a Wikia function to do it fastly however ^^

Personally, I'm not a fan of the idea. Even if it has a big number of pages, we should not forget that it is "only" a subcategory to Items :/
