I suggest we change the timeline format from plain text to a table with because of the following reasons:
- It is practically impossible to browse a long timeline when all there is is plain text, unless you intend to read the whole thing.
- With the addition of colored references for seasons/episodes or comics, it is a lot easier to browse. You can get a quick and easy understanding of what episode or episode arc a part of the timeline belongs to.
- Additionally, the new format makes a clear distinction between events that take place onscreen and events that take place off-screen (whether it is mentioned by the characters, evidenced by the plot, or expanded upon by the writers in social media or interviews), as the season/episode box is not colored for the latter.
- Gaps in the timeline are more distinct in the new format, with a highlighted background.
- The text is still the same. It will not undergo any change.
- The format is consistent with what we already use in a lot of pages (i.e. World-crossing, Dark One Deals, etc.)
What do you think? Do you agree or disagree?
