What do you prefer, a split story arc or full seasons with the same story?
I prefer the full season, because half story arc are sometimes very rushed. If it's rushed you have little time for the backstory's and character development, if you have little time for character development you get things like: - Emma doesn't want her magic and is struggling with being the savior (3B)
- Emma has no control over her magic (4A)
- Emma has no control over her inner darkness, which is actually sent to Lily, so it doesn't make sense anyway (4B)
- Emma became the DO! Which is actually a good for her character development, she will be completely evil, but probably will be back to being "the savior who never has control" again (5A)
The same for Regina and her redemption, in S3 Regina did a great job. But she also has "can I be a hero, can the people trust in me" discussion with Robin all the time (sometimes I have a feeling that,s all Robin and Regina talk about).
If they had done full seasons it would probably be: S1 & 2 the same as they are now, S3 would be mainly Pan and fairytale backstory, S4 would be Zelena, they could have more fairytale's as backstory, S5 would be Ingrid and frozen, unless if they would skip it, if so, it would be search for the author, QoD, they could still introduce the Aprentice through the search of the author, and operation mongoose as season finale. S6 could be about DO mythology and Dark Swan, maybe they could introduce the Underworld in the last phew episodes.
What do you all think?
