She just not satisfied with a hard-working husband.I would have loved this man because he's charistimitically hard-working.
There's a difference between hard working and obsessed.
If you work hard you are not suppose to ignore your friends. You would have loved him and he would forget your brithday, rarely talk to you about things besides work, and would not have fun. It's okay to work hard, but Gwen asked Arthur to dance with her on her borthday like he said, but he didn't. He came out and told Gwen that he was leaving to go find the dagger.
There is a huge difference between being hard-working, and being obsessive.... Arthur is obsessive. Had he been hard-working, he would have spent those years building his kingdom. Similar to how Arthur was obsessed with finding the dagger, Guinevere was obsessed with trying to fix her husband. While he needed an intervention, she went about it all wrong.
Fulfiling destiny is living as a person's purpose. And he spend time in researching. Both is ok to me.
It's not okay to me. Arthur is so determined to fulfill his "destiny" that he won't simply allow it to happen. He's revolving his life around this obsession. And it is affecting his judgment and moral compass.

I think he is so good.Taking Rumple's dagger is a win-win.

The key problem with Rumple it seems to me (and this is my observation feel free to disagree) is that when he comes across something he fears he tries to get away from it immiedietly. He never faces his fear or tries to confront his fears and beat them. Take a look at Merida. She shot arrows at a dark one which is practicly suicide. Was she scared of Emma ? Yes but while she feared Emma she still fought her confronting the thing that she was scared off. Then she actually goes above and beyond and befriended the person who scared the living crap out of her then learns a lesson from the whole experience for which she thanked her. Merida not only confronted her fears but conquered them. Thats a skill the gold needs to learn. And Merida was scared of Emma when she came to pick up her prisoner but once again tried to face Emma.
Rumplestiltskin had a son to worry about. If he died, his son wouldn't have a father. To him, that would be tantamount to abandoning him, just as his father did. Before Baelfire was born, he was plenty brave. He was willing to fight in the Ogre War, which has been described several times as a sacrifice. He only deserted after he learned he had a son. Maybe in that case, he could have taken a risk, but after Milah left, taking risks like that would be selfish. I would say when he doesn't have a son to protect, Rumplestiltskin does have the capability to face his fears.

Exactly - well said.
I would say when he doesn't have a son to protect, Rumplestiltskin does have the capability to face his fears.
Yes, he does. But I don't see how anyone can "teach" him to do it. He has to find the incentive to face his fears from within himself. And he is capable of doing so. However, Emma using Merida to coerce Rumpel into "being brave" just doesn't do it. And if Horowitz and Kitsis allow this to happen, I'm really going to start wondering if they know anything about human nature.
I agree with you there. and I don't think Merida will coerce Rumple to be Brave. However, She might help him find that spark within him that allowed him to bravely go to the Ogre Wars in the first place. That spark that allowed him to run INTO a burning castle in order to obtain the DO Dagger (an act that was not an act of cowardice). That spark that allowed him to finally stand up to his Father.
And I honestly don't think Rumple is the Hero that Emma is looking for, anyway. He is possibly just another means to an end, someone that she can manipulate. (and it is so fun watching Rumple be manipulated.)
