  • I know it doesn't matter what the name of it is, but I am writing a fantasy novel and someone falls on top of a spike-like object, similar to the way Anita died. I can't just say "spike thing" in my book, so does anyone know what object is called that Anita fell on when she died?

It would be really helpful, thanks.

    • It wasn't a spear, was it?

Maybe you can say, "decorative spike"? :3 Did you try thesaurus.com-ing the word, "spike"? :o

    • "Decorative spike" sounds pretty good. The only other thing I can think of calling it is "a small elegant decorative spire." And you're right, I should try thesaurus.com. Thanks.

Do you mean "what's the book about?"

If so, I'm actually writing a full saga of books (7 books total) called the Silver Phoenix Saga. The first book is kinda like a huge prequel to all the other books. The first book is called The Catalyst. In thus book, a woman named Pircum is the protagonist, which is ironic because she becomes she is the main villain in books 2-5.
