I meant to bring this up sooner, but it slipped my mind. XD
I know a number of users are dissatisfied with the current spoiler policy, so it's time for a discussion.
First, let me explain why our spoiler policy is the way it is currently:
During season one, this wiki's community was very new and pretty small. At the time, the community decided to lock pages and turn off comments after a major spoiler was unleashed during the airing of an episode. Many users were upset by this event. The idea was to protect users in the show's home country (where the majority of our users are) from spoilers unleashed from early airings of the show. This worked fine until recently.
I know many people were upset by Prince of Hearts extending this protection by two hours, but this was done in line with what the policy is meant to do.
However, this isn't the same community. :D I think it is best to get rid of the spoiler policy altogether. We should be protecting everyone if we're doing anything at all, and it seems to be the easiest course.
Please share your thoughts.
