  • So, if Cora was strong enough to protect herself from Regina's curse why aren't The Dark One, The Saviour, and The Evil Queen, strong enough together to stop Pan's Curse?

It's essentially the same basic curse, since both come from the same sroll, they just have different effects. It makes me sad to think that Cora was the strongest person in the Enchanted Forest Realm. Note that by stop I mean, create a barrier the way Cora did. Sure anyone who was already afflicted would have been toast, but so what?

    • Regina cast the Dark Curse to transport everyone, from the Enchanted Forest, to the Land Without Magic. Peter Pan's plan, was just to freeze time, to create a New Neverland. Cora's protection spell would have been useless, this time. All she essentially did, was put everyone in her vicinity to sleep.... kind of, defeats the purpose.

Not to mention, Peter Pan's curse was meant to be unbreakable.

    • Protecting a small area and stopping a powerful curse something are two different things.

    • I like to think the staff she used, combined with her own power, is what protected that part of the land. Maybe the staff is from Wonderland, which is why no other powerful magic user from the Enchanted forest could escape the curse.

Hence, no one in Storybrooke knows abouth the staff and could not stop Pan's curse.

    • How many people knew about Regina's curse in the EF really in time to stop it?

I don't think one needed to be super powerful to protect an area of the EF, Cora just had advanced warning. She didn't try to stop Regina's curse, just protected herself, and even that didn't protect her fully.

    • Well I assume everyone knew, since they had enough time to prepare the wardrobe and other stuff.

But wait... How did the word got out that Regina was making the curse? If I remember correctly it was the Blue Fairy who told Snow and the others?

    • Rumple told them, in the pilot. As far as we every saw, people in the Royal Castle knew.

However, that doesn't mean everybody in the whole world knew, or knew exactly what it meant or what to do about it.

Well its the same as how Mr. Smee got word of Rumples story about his son. People love to gossip. It could even be the circle of villians standing with Regina around the bonfire, or Rumples prison guards. Or even the palace guards.

Well I think Snow White and her kingdom would have the decency to tell the other kingdoms about their impending doom.

    • I don't want to sound like an idiot, but wasn't Cora in Wonderland when Ragina cast the curse?

No, she returned to the Enchanted Forest with Hook to fake her death to Regina (who sent Hook to Wonderland to kill Cora) then protects part of the Enchanted Forest partially from the Dark Curse. "Queen of Hearts"

    • Oh right, forgive me I only have ever watched these all once and was on my computer for most of them.

Then next statement, the Dark One wanted to go with Ragina to the new land.  That much was said, or at least implied, in the show was it not?

What? Regina's curse, created by Rumplestiltskin, took them all to the Land Without Magic, which is exactly what he wanted. Is that what you're asking?

Yes, and he wanted that to find his son. Everything he did was in an effort to find his son again.

Finding his son was the biggest priority for Rumple. But I cant help but think he also wanted the best way to find his son and bring the powers of the Dark One to this new land as well. ;D
