  • So.. will we have two different timelines when the show returns in March? From the promo it seems like we are going to see Snow etc. in the Enchanted Forest when they arrive. So are we going to have the Enchanted Forest timeline in the present and the Land Without Magic timeline one year in the future? I think it could work if it gets together at some point again. What do you think?

      Preparing Editor Spell
    • Yes, there will be two timelines..... present-day new Storybrooke, and the past year in the Enchanted Forest flashbacks.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • I don't understand how it's still can happen in Storybrooke. It was destroyed. And why the hell do Bell have Land Without Magic clothes on, when they arrive in Enchanted Forest. They has a lot of explaining to do. And why do the fairy tale characters still have their memorize? Could Regina save them?

Everyone who was transported to the Enchanted Forest kept their memories. Regina stopped Pan's from occuring, but the price for it was that everyone inside Storybrooke who was formerly an Enchanted Forest inhabitant would have to go back to their old world.

I'm kinda confused about this as well. The price for Regina stopping Pan's curse is everyone being sent back to the EF. In that one year, did they find a way to come back to Storybrooke?

The Wicked Witch of the West, perhaps? ;)

    • x'D wow...so in those flashbacks we will see all the characters (and probrably new fairlytale characters) trying to hitchhike or idk a way back to the real world?

Watch  the promo.... there is plenty new footage, that looks an awful lot like Storybrooke.

    • For me it's not that clear. But I'd like a new storybrooke. I think I'll just wait til March or til someone actually confirms it. It is indeed hard to believe that they destroyed Storybrooke once and for all after we've barely seen it this first half of the season..

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • That's the most confusing promo I've seen so far, and it will leave us wondering for three months. Gosh.

    • My theory:

So every enchanted forest character was sent back with ALL there memories. Emma/Henry forgot everything from the point she gave Henry up for adpotion-when Pan's curse almost hit Storybrooke. I think what happens in the Wicked Witch casts a new curse which re-creates Storybrooke which is why Killian is at Emma's apartment.

Also in the promo Belle says "Do you know who cursed us?" Which it looks like she is talking to Emma/Emma is in the town hall of Storybrooke. There are scenes with Emma & Regina. Plus the BTS filming of Rebecca in Storybrooke, in the promo they say "Invades Storybrooke".

Whale is rushing in a Hospital with Robin Hood saying "What did this too him", probably in reference to Robin's son.

I agree on that idea. If they will show a sneak peak with Aurora/Philip/Robin/Mulan in LWM outfit, it may confirm that there is a new Storybrooke created and falshbacks will be there to explain how the new curse was enacted. Can't wait to see this!

They did "confirm", during the promo. Robin Hood is seen, wearing a hoodie, in the Storybrooke Hospital.... it is a blink-and-you-will-miss-it moment.

    • Maybe they bring or Regina or other wizards/witches make them have modern stuff in Fairlytale land? If they still have their memories and still know about modern stuff and come back there and having to go back to idk midevil living...i would soo miss the internet hahah xD

    • And is it just me or does David in 0:09 look alot like Macklemore XD and maybe Elphaba (im just going to asume thats what theyre going to call her) uses the same dark curse and puts them again back into another new Storybrooke? xD

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • I guess the present day storyline will be set in Enchanted Forest, while the flashforwards will show us what's happening in Storybrooke one year later. Someone casted the curse so that's why we have Storybrooke again and even though we are led to believe it is WW of the West that casted it, it may not be the case (that's why Belle is asking who did that).

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Am I the only one confused on how they got back? I know there's the whole second curse, but Regina said that after they were returned they could never come back to the LWM. Timeline wise I'm guessing it's going to splice between Hook convincing Emma magic is real (ugh, back to skeptical Emma), and flashbacks to what happened to the fairy tale people after they came back to the EF. I think the parts where is shows new SB might be from when Emma comes back to SB in the present.

She never said they couldnt go back to the LWM, they couldnt go back to Storybrooke. They could use Lake Nostros, beans, or a hat. My theory is the town of Storybrooke transported with the characters to Fairytale World.

    •  I'm reposting this from another thread, so you may have seen it already: The biggest thing that is confusing me is the whole what exists/what doesn't and where is everybody. The episode shows everyone currently in Storybrooke getting returned to present day Enchanted Forest, but keeping all their memories, with the exception of Emma and Henry, who's memories are changed so that Emma never gave Henry up in the first place. Storybrooke is appearently turned back into the forest it originally was. One year later, Hook shows up, somehow getting back to the World Without Magic, and tells Emma (who of course can't remember him), everybodies in trouble. I understand all that, here's where it gets confusing, in previews we've seen both everybody who was transported back in the Enchanted Forest, and people (including people who were never their before) back in Storybrooke, which is back to normal. The only explination I can think of is the Wicked Witch of the West casted some kind of Copycat Curse of Regina's Curse (It can't be Regina's Curse because that scroll was destroyed, right?). But Hook escaped it some how? IDK. Needless to say, if I'm correct, then only Hook and Wicked Witch (and maybe Rumple, I'm 99.9% sure he's not actually dead) have their real memories, and everybody, including people who weren't cursed before (Phillip, Aurora, Mulan, Robin), plus Emma and Henry need their memories restored. That's the best I can come up with at any rate, I guess we'll find out how right that is in March

    • A different take on the whole thing: I think either the kiss worked or somehow Emma remembers. In that last part of the scene after she slams the door, her face seems show the impression she is lying. It wouldn't be that far-fetched, a year of finally having Henry and a normal life may be enough to persuade her from trying to help everyone.

I doubt it. If you remember after Snow took the potion to forget Charming, he pulled the same move Hook pulled on Emma and it didn't work, they had to fall in love first, she had to fall for him first. I doubt they're going to pull the same stunt twice and have a different outcome each time.

    • Don't get me wrong! I'm not a huge fan of Captainswan ship thingy but here's what I think will happen:

In order to make Emma remember everything, Hook desperately tries to make her fall in love with him and hope that true loves kiss will bring her memories back. I do think that Henry will take Emma's (S1) role as non believer (Even though he has heart of the truest believer) and Emma tries to make him to remember everything that happened.

I really really do hope that they doesn't make Regina evil again. That's pretty much only concern about the second half of the season. I would also like to know what happend to Mary margarets blacken heart plot point.

...And I know. My english does suck! Oh, and this thread was more for timeline speculation :/. Forgive me.

    • You english isn't that bad, at all. But maybe I'm the wrong person to judge that as I'm German. :D

I agree with you on the Regina point by the way. I can totally see them making her the Evil Queen again, because she lost Henry and now.. what else does she have to lose? But I don't want that. Because I'm feeling sorry for her every single time she does something right but doesn't get the respect from the other fairytale characters like the dwarfs or Granny for example. It's mostly Snow that always tries to show Regina's good side to the rest of them. I want to see them (Regina and Snow) finally getting a little closer again. She can still be the Evil Queen in flashbacks. But present day Regina is a different person.

No, I think they do have their memories. I think you're right, I also think there is a second curse, cast by the Wicked Witch. A similar curse as Regina's Dark Curse, but a little different: I think everyone keeps their memories. Belle asks: 'Do you know who cursed us?'. If you don't have your memories, you don't know you're cursed. So that means if everyone knows they are cursed, they have to have their memories. (And otherwise it would be the same as season 1, and I really don't want that.)

    • My theory is that the "New Storybrooke" will be in New York City.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • There are some things I don't understand in the promo. First of all, why we see Hook in New York while Regina told everybody "...Everyone will go back to where they're from, prevented from ever returning...". But Hook was in Enchanted Forest with Cora before the curse, so why he is back to Enchanted Forest without Cora? And why Robin Hood was not in Storybrooke but remained in Enchanted Forest?

Then we see Hook and Robin Hood in a hospital wearing (Hook and Robin) the Enchanted Forest clothes. How can it be possibile if, once back to Enchanted Forest, they cannot back to the real world? Is it possible in the meantime the Enchanted Forest has became "modern"? The answer is suppost to be NO, because we see everyone wearing the fairy clothes and Regina's Castle too is the same. So where exactly are Whale, Hook and Robin now?

Belle says "Do you know who cursed us?" in a room that seems Storybrooke. Is it a old episode scene or a new one? I don't remember this scene in the first season... Nearby her we can see Jiminy Cricket in his human form. Actually we only see his glasses not his face, but since in Storybrooke noone wears glasses, we know is him.

Regina told everyone will go back where they're from (before the curse) and all the things happened in the last 10 years will be undone. But Emma 10 years ago was pregnant with Neal/Baelfire's child. So we have two possibilities: Neal is Henry's father and then Neal is gone back to New York (and after the second curse he is somewhere not knowing Emma and his child are there) or Henry's father is someone else.

In the promo Emma holds something in her hands. It seems to be a spell (like the one Regina broke in the las episode). Does she start to remember (since we see Hook continues to "stalk" Emma, trying to make her remember)? Or what she says ""It's not possibile") means that magic cannot exist?

Are we sure Snow White, when says "We're back", is refering to Enchanted Forest? Maybe she could refer to a new Storybrooke. This could explain why Hook is New York: The Wicked Witch of the West (freed by the temporary death of Blue Fairy) has invaded Enchanted Forest seeking revenge. And Enchanted Forest characters have escape to a new Storybrooke to get help from Emma since she's The Savior, and once again she can save them. And it seems The Wicked Witch followed them.

In the last episode, Tink said the Black Fairy was exiled by Blue Fairy. Is it possible the temporary death of the Blue Fairy has broken the exile so the Black Fairy is free?

When everyone are outside the Mills Chapel in tha cemetary, we can see the shadow looking (and hearing) them. Why the shadows not warns Peter Pan about what they intended to do?

Snow White is already pregnant. We can see when Mary Margaret give the book to Henry and in the scenes in the city and when they say goodbye to Emma and Henry. So, the filming was interrupt to let the actress has the child? If it's so, why we are seeing Snow White pregnant when she's back to Enchanted Forest?

Rumple calls back his shadows to kill Peter Pan, but... we see the shadows enters inside Rumple's body not in Peter's. And if the dagger is the only thing could kill the Dark One (as Rumple did when he killed the first Dark One, gaining his powers and becaming the New Dark One), is it possibile that the dagger has not the power to let the Dark One kills himself (like Peter Pan's bracelet has no power against Peter)?

In the final Storybrooke's scene we see the red line on the road fading away, but that road is not the same road where others (Owen, Tamara, Police) came and went from Storybrooke.

At last, Emma doesn't remember who she is and what happened, but she still has magic inside of her (because Regina only changed her memories).

The new timeline for the second half, will be present-day "new" Storybrooke and flashbacks of they past year in the Enchanted Forest. A new curse is going to reinstate Storybrooke, and everyone will be sent there. Which is why Belle says, "Do you know, who cursed us?".... that scene, is from episode 3.13. Somehow, Hook is able to find Emma in New York.

The hospital scene is also from 3.13, and is the Storybrooke Hospital. If you look closely, David is also there. Robin Hood is not wearing fairytale garb, but a leather jacket over a hoodie.... a modern take, on his character. Hook will never be seen out of his pirate outfit, due to the mechanism that covers Colin O'Donoghue's left hand. Hook's costume is designed with special sleeves, to give the illusion that he really is missing a hand.

PS: Robin Hood and his Merry Men were never sent to Storybrooke, when Regina cast the Dark Curse. They were obviously within the bounderies, of Cora's protective shield. Ariel and Tinker Bell was never sent to Storybrooke, the first time around, either.

So Belle is talking to Regina when she says "Do you know who cursed us?". A new Storybrooke will be created to escape from the Wicked Witch? This could explain why Hook is in New York: he came back with everyone from the Enchanted Forest. So it could be possible Snow White says "We're back": back again to Storybrooke.

It's not easy to see exactly what Robin wears in the Hospital scene... we see him for less than a second and it seems to me he 's wearing his fairytale clothes. Actually we never seen Hook without his black clothes, except when Owen hit him with his car and both were taken to the Hospital... This is the only scene where we see Hook wearing something looks like a bathrobe.

So Ariel and Tinker Bell were sent back to the Ocean and to Neverland? If so, Neverland still exists...

No.... Robin Hood is wearing modern cloths. The style of his new outfit is a reference, to who he is in the Enchanted Forest. Just like everyone else, on the show. Here  is the promo, in slow motion. Hopefully, it will be easier to see.

Tinker Bell is not native to Neverland, she was banished there. She will probably be seen in the Enchanted Forest, once the special effects are done. Ariel will either be with Prince Eric, or back in the ocean.... who really knows?

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Yes, now it's easier to see the outfits. Thanx.

You're right. Tinker Bell was "born" in Enchanted Forest (she tried to help Regina to find her true love).

Ariel cannot be back with Prince Eric in the Enchanted Forest since he was in Storybrooke (he was the one who cut the fish when Ariel arrives in Storybrooke together with Emma, Henry & co. after they saved Henry) while she was into the Ocean. So Prince Eric was one of the victims of the curse, but Ariel was not.

I also noticed Prince Charming wears two different outfits: the first when Snow White says "We're back" and the second when he is with Regina, who seems to have the same outfit in both scenes. Bae too has the same outfit. Maybe Prince Charming felt cold...

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • According to the imdb page of OUAT, characters that have 2014 as the participation in the series are Emma, Queen, Henry, Hook, Baelfire, Snow White, Prince Charming, Belle, Grumpy, Aurora, Philip, Dr. Whale, Tinker Bell. All others, including Rumple are still 2013. I do not know if as reported by imdb can be trusted, but if so Robert Carlyle would be released from the series and then either died or remained as a recurring character.

But it is still strange that imdb carryovers to 2013 characters like Jiminy Cricket, the Blue Fairy , Granny and the Seven Dwarfs because at the end of episode 11 we saw them together with the other returning in the Enchanted Forest . So it may be that the dates of some of the characters have not yet been updated on imdb.

Also, I saw some photos from the set of the end of November and beginning of December and it seems the locations of the city are the same as the first Storybrooke. So, I do not think we'll see a "new" Storybrooke. Rather, I am inclined to think they'll be back in the Storybrooke that we have always seen until now. On the other hand, I do not think it is convenient, from an economic standpoint, to move the whole set in a different location, nor does build from scratch a new "Storybrooke".
