Trivia
Character Notes
- According to Jafar, the Sultan does not tolerate thieves. ("Street Rats")
- However, obscurity of this still remains, as it is not known Jafar said this because it's the truth, or becase he wanted to punish whoever he wishes due to being the Sultan's vizir.
Production Notes
- Cedric De Souza also plays Akil in the Once Upon a Time in Wonderland episode "The Serpent".
Disney
- Just like his Disney counterpart in Aladdin, the Sultan is seen playing with toy miniatures. ("Street Rats")
- Jafar has the Sultan under his control with a spell, which Aladdin breaks hold of by damaging his serpent staff. ("Street Rats")
Props Notes
- In "Street Rats", the Sultan is playing with a miniature castle.[1] That same toy is sitting on top of a commode in Mr. Gold's pawnshop after the Dark Curse is broken.[2] It is still there after the third curse.[3] ("We Are Both", "A Bitter Draught" et al.)
