Roni's, formerly known as Kelly & Roni's Pub, is a Seattle location featured on ABC's Once Upon a Time. It first appears in the first episode of the seventh season.

History

During Fifth Curse

After the curse takes her to Hyperion Heights, Regina Mills becomes Roni, and her sister Zelena becomes Kelly West, with both of them sharing ownership of a bar called Kelly & Roni's Pub. At one point, Roni persuades Kelly's daughter to give up on college and instead work at the bar. Kelly, after having a falling out with Roni, is pushed out of Hyperion Heights by Victoria Belfrey, causing her to leave for San Francisco. Roni becomes the sole owner of the bar, which she renames to "Roni's," in addition to taking down the old pub sign and refurbishing parts of the bar. As Victoria uses her power to push residents out of Hyperion Heights, Roni laments the loss of the community and, eventually, agrees to sell the bar to her. The day before Roni is supposed to sign the bar over to Victoria, Henry arrives in search of his laptop, which was taken by Lucy, who claims to be his daughter. Roni and Henry briefly talk about how poorly their respective days have gone when Jacinda Vidrio arrives to return Henry's laptop, apologizing for Lucy's behavior. There is an immediate and recognizable spark between Henry and Jacinda, so Roni serves them two drinks as an icebreaker to ease the romantic tension. Jacinda and Henry's bonding is interrupted by Victoria arriving, much to Roni's dismay, and announcing her plan to take full custody of Lucy. At midnight, Victoria arrives at the bar again to have Roni sign the papers, but Roni refuses, revealing that she was inspired by Jacinda to stand up to Victoria. Roni describes the bar as her home and tears up the contract. Infuriated, Victoria swears that Roni will regret her decision, but Roni responds that regret isn't really her thing. As Victoria leaves, Roni takes a look around her bar and smiles in triumph. ("Hyperion Heights," "Pretty in Blue," "The Eighth Witch," "Secret Garden")

At Roni's, Sabine introduces Jacinda to the WorkBunny app, which she encourages her to use to find jobs and earn the $550 she needs for a ticket to Lucy's ballet recital. When Henry comes to their table, Sabine quickly realizes who he is before taking her leave from the bar so he and Jacinda can talk privately. Henry apologizes for his part in separating Jacinda from Lucy, however, Jacinda finds his apology useless, telling him that it won't help her see her daughter at her recital. While Henry offers to cover the costs for her, Jacinda refuses, insisting she can earn her own money and doesn't need to be saved from him. Tasked by Victoria to drive Henry out of Hyperion Heights, newly paired Detectives Weaver and Rogers go to the bar to Roni for information. Weaver questions her about why Henry was at her bar this morning, however, Roni refuses to divulge anything. An unimpressed Weaver notes that he always gets his answer either way and after finishing his drink, he walks out of the bar, leaving Rogers to pay Roni for his tab. Roni warns Rogers to careful of Weaver, whose previous partners have all mysteriously disappeared, and she also asks him to consider just how badly he wants to keep this detective job. Upon exiting the bar, Rogers meets Weaver outside, telling him that they haven't done enough to go after Henry. Later, after an altercation with Weaver, Henry nurses his bruised cheek with an ice pack at Roni's. Jacinda drops by with a beer as a peace offering, in which she expresses appreciation for helping her see Lucy at the recital and that he took a hit from Weaver for her sake. After Jacinda finally accepts his apology, Henry asks her to sit with him, but Jacinda declines as she has a late shift to finish. Rogers arrives to give a list of cemeteries to Henry, who was hoping to locate where his deceased family members are buried. The detective references the blonde woman in Henry's book who bears a resemblance to a woman who saved him from death after he got injured trying to rescue a little girl. Rogers, wanting to do the morally right thing like the woman did for him, theorizes that Victoria may be responsible for keeping him from finding the girl. He shares with Henry and Roni that all their problems might be linked back to Victoria, and his wish to find evidence of her crimes. The trio then decides to work together to oust her. ("A Pirate's Life")

One night at her bar, Roni serves a customer who works for the building commission in Hyperion Heights. This customer, while inebriated, talks about how he will be making lots of money soon once he helps Victoria with a certain favor, and that he is meeting with her in the afternoon at Hyperion Plaza. Later, while Roni and Rogers are already waiting inside the bar, Henry arrives in with a box of donuts as they begin their plan to take down Victoria. Roni mentions her conversation with the drunk customer, which Henry suspects has to do with Victoria's plans to redevelop the neighborhoods. Hook agrees to stake out the meeting area and hopefully catch the customer in time to make him confess everything that Victoria is meddling in. Henry wants to tag along, but Hook insists he stick with his expertise in research, much to Henry's disappointment. As Henry is working on his laptop, Jacinda pops into the bar and tells Roni about Victoria's plans to demolish the community gardens today and replace them with condos. Roni, with knowledge from the manual for Hyperion Heights' building codes, finds a rule that states an injunction can be overturned as long as the community deems the property essential to the public good. She gives Jacinda the idea to form a petition and get people to sign it as a way to halt the demolition. Much later, Lucy comes to find Henry at the bar to show him the number of petition signers has reached 100. She is happy he stayed for Jacinda, even though Henry contends that he is only trying to help save the garden. Henry wonders why she isn't more upset about the garden's possible demise, to which Lucy reveals she isn't because it's giving her mother something to fight for and hopefully wake up from the curse. Lucy then tells him a secret about the demolition, in that it's not about the condos but something that's hidden below it which Victoria wants to dig up. After burning the petitions to accept an offer given to her by Victoria, Jacinda recuperates at the bar, telling Roni about how her actions disappointed Lucy, despite that she destroyed the petitions for a chance to be with her daughter. Roni advises her to think about how much she is willing to give up to Victoria, who will take away everything from her if she lets her. ("The Garden of Forking Paths")

In the bar during Halloween, Roni is dressed up as Sandy from Grease and lets Henry sample one of her new drinks called the Poisoned Apple. Henry takes a sip and suggests she could try adding cinnamon to it. Roni notices how down he seems and finds out from him that he recently found the graves of his deceased wife and child. She understands how hard it is for him to let them go but advises he could try to have fun by asking Jacinda out on a date, and that if he loved once before, he owes it to himself to find happiness again. After deciding not to accompany Jacinda and Lucy for Halloween night, Henry joins Ivy at Roni's for a drink. Ivy insists he keeps her company until she is ready to face the wrath of her mother. She also thanks him for helping her put herself first for once and for listening to her side of the story. Ivy prompts him about why he didn't join Jacinda and Lucy, with Henry admitting it's complicated, to which she toasts him with the vow to keep things "uncomplicated." Ivy later snaps some photos of herself and Henry during their bar outing and posts them to social media. ("Beauty," "Wake Up Call")

At the bar, Rogers shows Henry a box of evidence pertaining to the missing girl, Eloise Gardner, whom he never found. After Rogers' departure, Roni grills him about why he was with Ivy during the other night. Henry believes she is not bad like Victoria and that she might be willing to help them take her down, despite Roni's reservations about the girl's motives. Henry receives a call from Ivy about Victoria's recent habit of spending time in a secret room on the top floor of Belfrey Towers, which he then informs Roni about. Roni is unhappy he is actually putting his trust in Ivy and the possibility that he is falling for her. She insists Jacinda is the better option for him because she doesn't believe Ivy has genuine feelings for him. Henry expresses frustration over her acting like his mother, although Roni reasons that, if his mother were present, she'd tell him to get back into writing, ask Jacinda on a date, and tip her generously for giving him such sound advice. Upon seeing Henry begin leaving, she inquires about where he is going, to which Henry exasperatedly states that he's headed to the bathroom unless she means to hold his hand in there too. Henry's phone receives a message from Ivy to meet her at Belfrey Towers' lobby, but Roni answers for him, telling her that "he" will be there, before deleting both messages. After going to meet Ivy in Henry's place, Roni returns to the bar to come clean to Henry about what she did and show him a photo she found while there. The picture depicts a woman bearing an uncanny resemblance to Roni, except with different hair and clothes, as she hugs a young boy. Roni claims she does not know who the child is, however, Henry recognizes the boy is him. ("Greenbacks")

As Roni and Henry continue scrutinizing the photo, Henry suggests it was photoshopped to resemble a storyline from his book, with Roni as his mother the Evil Queen and him as her adoptive son. Roni, suspecting Victoria is screwing with them, goes behind the counter to grab her baseball bat to teach the woman a lesson, but Henry persuades her to act rashly. Jacinda pops into the bar to borrow tools from Roni for a food truck she is fixing, and Henry offers to help her, but she declines before rushing out. Henry is confused by her avoidance of him until he discovers photos that Ivy published online of them from their bar night out and the possibility that Jacinda thinks he and Ivy are an item now. As Henry is freaking out over this, Lucy runs in and excitedly asks to see the photo. Henry mistakenly believes she means the ones of him and Ivy, but it's the photo of Regina and young Henry that she wants to see. Lucy quickly pieces together who they're supposed to be in the picture and goes off to execute a way in which Roni can remember her old life. After Roni strikes a deal with Weaver to obtain the adoption papers that Regina signed, Weaver drops by the bar to give them to her, but not without asking her why she wanted his help if she believed he wouldn't find anything. Roni doesn't provide an answer and instead tells him not to interrogate her. While looking at Regina's signature, Roni replicates the woman's handwriting on a separate piece of paper, which leaves her confused about the similarity. Ivy visits, under the pretense of having more dirt on Victoria, and pours drinks from the bar for herself and Roni. In Roni's drink, Ivy laces it with a magical liquid in order to make her recover her lost memories. Roni suddenly remembers everything, and as she prepares to answer an incoming call from Henry, Ivy reminds her why the curse can never break. She then tasks Regina with forcing Henry and Jacinda apart so they can never share true love's kiss as only bad things will happen to Regina's loved ones if the curse is broken. ("Wake Up Call")

After Henry and Jacinda manage to get the electrical system on the food truck to start running, they celebrate by getting drinks at the bar, where Roni agrees to hire Jacinda to help her earn money. Henry and Jacinda then go sit down at a table together, while Ivy badgers Roni at the counter, once again pushing her to split up the couple and prevent true love's kiss from happening. Henry later sees Rogers as one of the outside bar tables, where he is working on the Eloise case. Rogers is adamant that Eloise is still alive and, despite how crazy it sounds, he feels a familial bond with the missing girl. During a work shift with Roni, Jacinda tells her about her upcoming date with Henry and that she is thinking about trying to regain custody of Lucy. Falling in line with Ivy's demands, Roni subtlely convinces Jacinda that pursuing a new relationship with Henry won't look good in the eyes of social workers if she intends to get her daughter back. Now worried about spoiling her chances of regaining Lucy, Jacinda cancels her date with Henry as Roni guiltily watches nearby and notices her son's disappointment. Later, Henry informs Roni and Jacinda about Victoria being arrested for holding Eloise captive, with these circumstances freeing Lucy from her Victoria's guardianship. ("Eloise Gardener")

In the aftermath of Victoria's imprisonment, Ivy agrees to an on-camera interview with Henry to talk about what happened. Henry does the recording in another room in the bar, and after he is finished filming, Ivy flatters him on his writing skills and offers to have Belfrey Towers back him up as a sponsor if he turns his blog into a podcast. Roni interrupts by asking for Henry's help with unjamming the keg room door, which Henry happily obliges with. In response to Roni demanding that she stay away from Henry, Ivy mocks her for sounding so "Evil Queen"-esque and reminds Roni that she's outnumbered now that Gothel is her ally. Roni is surprised to hear she is working with Gothel, even asking how they know each other, but Ivy scoffs, declining to villain monologue for her. Later at the bar counter, Henry unexpectedly bonds with a stranger over their shared music tastes before finding out that he is Jacinda's ex as well as Lucy's biological father who is helping her with the custody case. Weaver comes to find Roni later after hearing she was looking for him at the police station. At first, Roni questions him about what the name Rumplestiltskin means to him, but after he gives her a flimsy answer, she wastes no time calling him out for hiding under the radar and asks for his help to fight against Gothel. Weaver continues feigning ignorance and eventually goes to leave, to which Roni wonders if he is keeping his cover because of the Guardian and tells him to consider that Belle wouldn't want this for him. This appears to strike a nerve in Weaver, though he manages to turn around with a neutral face and ask her who Belle is. Frustrated with Weaver's noncompliance, Roni drops the subject and states she'll get help somewhere else. Roni later finds Henry getting drunk in her bar while he is heartbroken over Jacinda and persuades him to join her for a trip to California to find someone whose assistance she needs. In Roni's absence, Remy runs the bar for her, during which Jacinda comes in looking for Henry because she wanted to give him a mixtape. However, Remy tells her that Henry already left for San Francisco. ("Pretty in Blue")

When Gothel offers to wake Lucy from her coma if Kelly gives her the Resurrection Amulet, Roni and Kelly search the bar for the stone, intending to locate it first and find a way to use it without paying the price for its magic. Kelly immediately notices the changes to the bar's interior, which are so different from when she co-owned it with her sister. Roni recalls how, in the past, Victoria was persistent about buying the bar, and that perhaps she wanted it in order to retrieve the amulet which is supposedly somewhere in the bar. After looking all over, the sisters find the old pub sign in the storage room as they consider putting it back up if Kelly decides to stay in Hyperion Heights. Suddenly, Kelly smashes the sign onto the floor and picks a circular object from the broken pieces, revealing the amulet was hidden in plain sight all along. Victoria arrives to seize the amulet, pointing a gun at them, in order to give the amulet to Gothel to ensure Lucy's revival. Roni forfeits the stone and warns her the cost of using it is too high, but as Victoria backs out of the room with the amulet, she tells Roni that when it comes to their children, there is no such thing. ("Secret Garden")

In the wake of Victoria's death, Roni and Kelly resume working alongside each other at the bar. Henry drops by one morning, and while the sisters are away, he receives a text from Jacinda inviting him to come over her apartment for game night with her and Lucy. After Henry replies to confirm he'll come, Remy talks to him about his new podcast H-Town and asks if his story will on a future episode. Henry agrees he will eventually, to which Remy mentions how often he spoke of Jacinda in the first podcast episode and wonders if her mixtape was that good. Henry is confused by this, and Remy explains Jacinda had a mixtape that she wanted to give him. When the bar lights go out, Remy leaves to check the breaker box while Mr. Samdi mysteriously appears, introducing himself as an investor and he gives Henry his business card to pass along to Roni. Before leaving to follow up on a potential new writing assignment, Henry gives the card to Roni, who suspects Mr. Samdi is Dr. Facilier. From behind the bar counter, Kelly panics as she ignores another incoming call from her fiancé, Chad, as she doesn't know what to tell him yet. Roni discusses Samdi with her sister, and the two devise a plan to test if he is indeed awake like they are. When Samdi returns to persuade Roni to sell her bar to him, Kelly pretends to be her and declines the man's offer, telling him that her sister is also likely not interested. Roni then comes out to confirm this, and Samdi leaves by telling both women to call him if they change their minds. Later, the sisters celebrate that Samdi doesn't remember his past as Facilier, but are interrupted by Weaver arriving and revealing that he remembers his as Rumplestiltskin. Roni is briefly irritated that Weaver played dumb when she asked for his help, but Weaver explains that he was forced to due to his alliance with Victoria. He talks to them about Doctor Sage's death, which he originally believed was by the Coven of the Eight, but then he discovered that Hilda Braeburn, a known member, was almost killed as well and that he then found a scar on Doctor Sage's wrist indicating that she had a tattoo of the coven's symbol removed. Kelly and Roni realize, shocked, that someone else is murdering members of the coven. ("A Taste of the Heights")

The morning after spending the night at Samdi's apartment, Roni inconspicuously makes her way to her bar when she runs into Henry and sheepishly admits to him where she was. As the pair stop outside the closed bar, Henry tells her about his strange night at Jacinda's place, where Lucy, at first, tried to get him and her mom together and later changed her tune for apparently no reason. Roni unlocks the bar door and invites him in for some breakfast and any support she can offer him. Later that evening, while the bar is packed with patrons, Lucy sneaks her way in and goes to see Roni, whom she informs about a storybook page that states Henry will die if true love's kiss breaks the curse. Roni reveals to Lucy that, unlike last time they spoke about the curse, she is now awake and remembers her time as the Evil Queen. They decide to figure out a way to save Henry just like Henry did when he was Lucy's age; with walkie-talkies and an operation name: Operation Hyacinth. ("Knightfall")

As closing time for the bar draws near, Roni shows Lucy a pair of walkie-talkies they can use to communicate for their operation, however, the girl finds them to be clunky and instead persuades Roni to use texting. When Roni brings up Mr. Samdi, Lucy recognizes him as Dr. Facilier and excitedly suggests that because he's a voodoo doctor, he might have a cure for Henry. Roni agrees but states they should find out first what Samdi is doing in Hyperion Heights, and she insists to Lucy that her sister cannot know what they're doing. Kelly then interjects into the conversation to ask what she is not allowed to know about. Roni casually lies about wanting to add a kid's menu to the bar, which Kelly doesn't see the point of. As Roni excuses herself to go walk Lucy home, she gives her sister the keys to lock up the bar for the evening. After Roni distracts Samdi with a date so Lucy can gather evidence from his apartment, she is working at the bar counter when Samdi arrives to return a hat that Lucy left behind, revealing he now knows she and her granddaughter are onto him. Roni asks about the death card in his tarot deck, which Lucy took a photo of, as she assumes he is after someone. Samdi confesses he means to kill Weaver and claim the Dark One Dagger for himself. Roni is shocked by his admission but vows to stop him. Before leaving, Samdi tells her that if she plays her cards right, she can have a great romance in her future, and like what Weaver once did, perhaps she should find a way to have everything she wants. When Kelly drops by, Roni gives her a green appletini and apologizes for not being honest with her about Samdi before telling her about Samdi's plans for Weaver. Roni admits she still has feelings for Samdi even after knowing his ill intentions, to which Kelly squeezes her hand to comfort her. Suddenly, Margot arrives at the bar, having finally returned from her travels to be with her mother and aunt. After Margot goes to freshen up with a shower, Kelly tells Roni how difficult it is to lie to her daughter about who they really are. Roni agrees with her sentiments before clinking drink glasses with her. ("The Girl in the Tower")

Having made plans for dinner with Sabine later in the evening, Jacinda goes with Lucy to the bar to pick up a meal order for her daughter and the babysitter who will be watching her. After Jacinda goes outside to answer a call from the sitter, Roni tries to cheer up Lucy with a glass of cocoa as she can tell the girl feels bad about keeping her mother and Henry apart. Lucy considers that her mother has Sabine to lean on but Henry has no one, but Roni Henry did have two close friends in the New Enchanted Forest; Captain Hook who is now Officer Rogers and Jack who is now Nick in Hyperion Heights. The girl is shocked her real dad and cursed dad were friends, but going by Roni's suggestion that it would be good for the three men to develop the rapport they had before the curse, she works on Operation Bromance by texting all three of them to make them meet up at Flynn's Barcade for a guys' night out. Working at the bar as usual that night, Roni is pouring shots of whiskey as Ivy comes the counter, to which she tells her that there's a strictly no whiskey for witches policy. Ivy begs for help as she was just attacked by the Candy Killer, with Roni refusing when Ivy admits she doesn't have a cure for Henry's poisoned heart. However, seeing how desperate and afraid Ivy is, Roni allows her to stay at the bar while she goes to call Weaver, although she implies things are not settled between, as the only one who will make Ivy pay for hurting Henry is her. With Roni busy phoning Weaver, who ignores her calls, Samdi approaches Ivy and foretells a grim future for her, in that the killer will continue coming after her and she can only trust herself to change her own fate by sacrificing Anastasia for her own freedom. He even insists Anastasia will die anyway under Gothel's control, but she can take her sister's life and magic for a magic bean which will allow herself to escape to another realm. From looking at the last card in her card reading, Ivy gets an idea of how to make Anastasia come to her. Ivy then leaves with Samdi, which is witnessed by a bartender who later informs Roni, who heads out from the bar to track down Weaver. By the end of the evening, after Ivy and Anastasia reconcile and use the bean to depart from Hyperion Heights, Roni comes back to the bar, where Samdi is waiting for her. Samdi admits he did deceive Ivy for his own benefit and that her sister was never going to die, but he had to siphon some of Anastasia's magic. Roni believes he wanted it for himself, however, he gives it to her, telling her to use it to save her son. As for the price for his gift, Samdi wants nothing except her beautiful smile. Shortly after leaving the bar, Samdi is confronted outside by Weaver, who threatens to end him if he dares to take the dagger from him or mess with his family ever again. ("Sisterhood")

While running the bar in Roni's absence, Margot meets Henry and recognizes him as the host of the podcast H-Town, which she herself has listened to and practically everyone in Hyperion Heights is talking about. Nick, meanwhile, is sitting alone drinking when Henry greets him and notices he is in a bad mood. Nick claims that a "client" got away from him, but Henry reassures him that he'll get back on his feet eventually. Later, Kelly is in the backroom with Lucy working on a cauldron brew to help Henry's poisoned heart which she states will only become magical if her sister finds the last ingredient. Lucy asks what will happen if Roni doesn't, and Kelly pointedly tells her that Henry will remain poisoned and the curse stays intact. Seeing Lucy's downtrodden expression at her words, Kelly apologizes for her bluntness as it's been a while since she has been around kids. Lucy is impatient about getting the curse broken because she doesn't want to continue lying to her mother, which Kelly relates to as she desperately wants to be honest with Margot but cannot as she is afraid her daughter will think she is crazy. Later, Kelly walks out to the front of the bar to see Lucy off, telling her that she'll call her as soon as Roni returns. Margot, who is working at the counter, curiously asks about Lucy. Kelly tells her that she is a friend's kid who she was helping with a school project. Margot assumed she was doing the inventory, to which Kelly states she was working on both and asks her to stop with the third-degree. As Kelly tries to walk away, Margot questions what is going on with her, especially since Kelly told her on the phone that she had certain "life changes" she wanted to discuss with her but so far, she's told her nothing. Margot can't understand why her mother left her life and fiancé, Chad, behind in San Francisco, and gives her the chance to come clean to her. When Kelly admits she cannot and pleads for her daughter to be patient, Margot declares she is done doing that as she's spent her life waiting for her mother to change and spitefully claims she regrets coming back to Hyperion Heights. However, with advice from Tilly, Margot has a change of heart and later apologizes to her mother, agreeing to wait until she is ready to share the truth with her. Having had time to think about what Margot said earlier, Kelly concedes that she misses Chad, to which her daughter suddenly recalls someone left something for her outside the bar. Margot, believing the gift is from Chad, hands her a heart-shaped box with her name on it, but a shocked Kelly realizes she is now the Candy Killer's next target. ("Breadcrumbs")

Sitting in the bar, Kelly toys with her engagement ring as she listens to Chad's latest message, in which he reminds her it's their anniversary and that he doesn't know why she left but wants to understand. Chad tells her he made reservations at their favorite restaurant for tomorrow and how much he misses her. Roni returns, having procured the right kind of moss needed for the potion to cure Henry, but Kelly reveals Henry left for a job interview in New York. Roni is stunned and wonders why she didn't call her, and Kelly then shows her the heart-shaped box. While she has no idea why the Candy Killer is after her, Kelly considers how being her cursed persona was much easier than being Zelena, who has a past of horrible deeds, as she believes Chad would never choose her if he knew the real her. Discovering from Weaver that the Candy Killer is Hansel, who she once wronged, Kelly later returns to the bar to switch the sign to "closed" before slipping on her pendant that Weaver returned to her. She begins looking for Roni's baseball bat behind the counter and then hears someone come in. Believing it's the killer, Kelly hides and arms herself with an empty glass bottle, however, the person approaches closer, and to Kelly's relief, it's only her sister. Roni helps her locate the baseball bat near the ice bin before reassuring her that Margot is safe at the station under Weaver's protection. After two clink shot glasses, Kelly recalls it's been a while since she last had a drink. Roni points out that she can still be both Kelly and Zelena, though Kelly isn't so sure how much of her cursed self will be left after her real self has dealt with Hansel. As Kelly sits in front of the fireplace, the phone rings, prompting her to call out to Roni to see if she can answer it instead. When she doesn't hear from her sister, Kelly answers the call to say the bar is closed. Chad responds to let her know it's him, much to her surprise as she begins apologizing for not calling him back, before another man's voice answers, telling her to do exactly as he says or he'll hurt Chad. Kelly later lies to Roni about Chad being at the airport and needing her to go there to pick him up. While Roni is away, Kelly hears a noise in the basement and investigates, finding a tied-up Chad as she rushes to his aid. The door is then closed behind her by Nick, the Candy Killer, whom Kelly tries to talk out of making any more people pay for her mistakes. Nick attempts to finish her off by stabbing her, but Kelly overpowers him and knocks him unconscious, leaving him in the basement while she and Chad wait upstairs for the police to arrive. ("Chosen")

In the aftermath, Kelly confesses mostly everything to Chad, including who Zelena is. Instead of returning the ring, Chad tells her that, when he proposed to her, he signed up for everything, including the things he didn't know and that whoever she was as Zelena, she's different now. The two reconcile with a kiss, and the police arrive to arrest Nick. When Roni returns, she gives her blessing for Kelly to return to San Francisco to marry Chad and the two share a goodbye hug, which Margot walks in on. Margot wonders about Kelly's identity before she met Chad was and deduces that she was a "crime boss." Kelly reveals to Margot that she and Chad are returning to San Francisco and asks her if she would like to come with them. When Margot declines and says she found someone in Hyperion Heights she might be willing to stick around for, Kelly embarrasses her by offering up encouragement for her to get to know more people, "especially cute blonde ones," a clear reference to Tilly, a girl Margot recently became acquainted with. Margot bashfully tells her mother not to make a big deal of things as her relationship with Tilly is still early in the works. Kelly then gives Margot her old pendant and tells Margot she wants her to be her maid of honor at her and Chad's wedding. Margot is elated over this, to which Kelly admits that as happy as she is now, her happiness began when Margot came into her life. ("Chosen")

Believing Samdi responsible for Nick's recent death and the theft of the Dark One's dagger, Weaver finds Roni in the bar backroom as she is working on finishing a potion to cure Henry's heart. He learns she got that bit of magic from Samdi, leading him to suspect the witch doctor kept some of it for himself to kill Nick, and he uses this as reasoning that Samdi doesn't actually care for Roni at all. Weaver tries to take the potion to get even with Samdi, but Roni refuses to hand it over. Instead, Roni sympathizes with how hard it's been for him since being separated from Belle and insists he let her talk to Samdi first. Later in the day, Roni finishes the potion and secures it in a locked safe, which Weaver breaks into while she is away and pours it on a map to locate the dagger. After her aborted date with Tilly, Margot is cleaning glasses at the bar counter when Tilly brings her a tray of candied fruit, in homage to the candied apple that Margot treated her to earlier. Tilly apologizes for the outburst she had in the bookstore, explaining that she sometimes has "bad days" where her head feels wrong, and she didn't want Margot to see her in that state as it's too much for some people to bear. However, Margot states it won't ever be too much for her. After helping to reclasp the bracelet that Tilly dropped when she left the bookstore, she offers her a drink from the bar. ("The Guardian")

From around the street corner, Eloise spies on Tilly parting ways from Margot, who goes back into the bar to resume work. She comes by later to introduce herself to Margot as a relation of Tilly's. Margot offers her a drink on the house and shows her the new "Wanderlust" menu she came up with. Eloise notices an Indian drink, which Margot explains is made with real rose petals. On the topic of the beauty of India, Eloise talks about a tree called the Arunchal Hopea which is now extinct because humans cut them down to use as fence posts and remarks that, from her own experience as a gardener, there is no greater pest than humanity. Margot seems uneasy by her comment but soon falls under the spell of Eloise's magic as she is frozen in place. Although Margot can no longer hear her, Eloise tells her that they've met before and how she was both insipid and unhelpful, unlike this time. Eloise then proceeds to draw a bit of blood from Margot's finger and pockets it in a vial before exiting the bar. Only then, Margot regains mobility and hisses over her injured finger, seemingly not remembering anything that transpired earlier. ("Flower Child")

As a storm is brewing outside, Margot sees Weaver and Rogers enter the bar and she offers them some hot drinks to warm them up. The detectives ask her to come with them, which Margot mistakenly believes is related to her overdue parking tickets. Instead, they tell her that Tilly is in trouble after getting kidnapped by bad people and they need Margot's help to bring her out of one of her bad states. Following Margot's departure, Roni is waiting behind the counter as Lucy arrives with Henry, whom she tricked into coming to the bar under the pretense Jacinda is there. Roni presents him with the storybook and urges him to touch it as it'll help him remember, which Henry goes along with, but nothing happens. After an upset Lucy runs out of the bar, Roni shows Henry the alleged photoshopped picture of her and a younger Henry in addition to the papers that Regina Mills signed to adopt Henry. She matches Regina's signature with her own as proof she is his mother, but Henry reminds her that he never had a home and the one he had with his family went up in flames. Henry, angry at her refusal to let him move on from his past, suggests that if his book is real, why aren't the heroes like Emma, Snow, or Charming saving the day or finding each other. Roni explains that Gothel's curse brought them to a Land Without Magic but it also brought them back in time, which means their younger past selves are still in Storybrooke. Henry warns her to stop because none of what she is saying happened, and Roni argues that all of it is true except he no longer believes in himself. Pushed to his breaking point, Henry declares no one wants to believe more than him because it means the inescapable pain he has over losing his family isn't real, however, the reality is he couldn't save his wife and child. Regina recalls he couldn't save Ella and Lucy when the curse was cast and is still blaming himself even now, but she has belief in him to save them now because they've always been by his side. Henry, having had enough, says goodbye to Roni before heading out of the bar. ("Is This Henry Mills?")

After Fifth Curse
After the curse is broken, citizens of Hyperion Heights celebrate at Roni's. Henry gets Lucy and Jacinda drinks, with a hot cocoa with cinnamon for Lucy and one of Roni's special drinks called the "weed killer" for Jacinda. Roni toasts them in honor of their family reunion, just as Margot and Tilly bring in a batch of Sabine's baked beignets, which Roni asks Remy to take to the backroom. Roni asks Tilly how her father is doing and Tilly says that he will be discharged from the hospital today. Henry then talks to his mother about whether she has heard from Mr. Samdi and the possibility he may be planning something. ("Homecoming")

MENUS
  • A handout food menu is seen lying on the bar counter when Henry first meets Roni in "Hyperion Heights," but it is too far away to read.[35] It can also be seen like this when Henry is sitting at the bar with Roni and Rogers in "A Pirate's Life"[36] and when Roni and Kelly enter the bar together in "Secret Garden."[37]
    • It can be seen up close in a set photograph from Twitter[38] and among a set of props from the set for the bar, which were auctioned off online in December 2018.[39] The menu is copied from a former version of the menu of Knight & Day,[40] a diner in Vancouver, where Once Upon a Time is filmed (note that the dishes are listed in the order they appear in the original menu; the show's order is somewhat different):
