Remy is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. He débuts in the second episode of the seventh season and is portrayed by co-star Trevor Roberts.
Remy is based on the character of the same name from the Disney/Pixar film Ratatouille.[1]
History
One day, while preparing a cassoulet, Remy comes across a magic bean and decides to save it in case he might need it later. ("Homecoming")
In Hyperion Heights, the character becomes known as Remy thanks to the Coven of the Eight's Dark Curse. He is a caterer who is hired for a charity event held by Victoria Belfrey. Remy is convinced by Henry into having another open bar because of all the people attending, however, this means he needs to hire more servers. Henry offers to help by finding people for him and puts up a job listing on the WorkBunny app that attracts Sabine and Jacinda. After the two women arrive for the job, Remy asks them if they've worked as servers before, which they confirm they have, to which he expresses relief to have found people on such short notice. He then directs them to work under Henry's instructions. ("A Pirate's Life")
As Remy's catering business slows down, he takes over for Roni at her bar when she leaves with Henry for a trip to San Francisco. Jacinda comes in with a mixtape she made for Henry, but she learns from Remy that he already left town. ("Pretty in Blue")
Following the release of Henry's first episode for his new podcast H-Town, Remy inquiries about whether his story will be eventually added. Henry assures him that he'll get to him soon, to which Remy notices how often he mentioned Jacinda in the first podcast episode and that her mixtape must have made him happy. Not knowing what Remy is talking about, he asks for clarification and finds out that the night he left for San Francisco, Jacinda wanted to give him a mixtape she created. When the bar lights go out, Remy leaves to check the breaker box, leaving Henry alone in the room until Mr. Samdi mysteriously appears. ("A Taste of the Heights")
Like all of the people who were cursed Remy wakes up due to the true love Henry has for Roni. After they, Jacinda, Lucy, Rogers and Weaver are lost in the Wish Realm Sabine gives a speech to the people of Hyperion Heights asking them to give Tilly and Margot a way to find their family. Remy still has his magic bean and gives it to them. ("Homecoming")
