Ralph Hemecker is an episode director for ABC's Once Upon a Time and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.
Biography
After launching his career with a short film he directed that caught attention, Ralph Hemecker quickly blazed the trail of becoming a successful commercial, television and feature film director. From the beginning, he established a unique voice, guided by a keen eye and honed sense of genre, which has brought flavor to every project he's since touched.
His directing resume includes series pilots for Roar at Fox (starring a then-unknown Heath Ledger), Lawless at Fox, Dead at 21 at MTV, and, most notably, the two-hour pilot for TNT's massively successful, Witchblade, of which he went on to write, show-run and executive produce for its two-season duration.
Currently, he serves as a recurring director on both Once Upon a Time and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, the latter of which he directed the series pilot for.
