Biography
Paul Lazenby is from Vancouver, Canada[2] and is an actor, stuntman and combat sports journalist.[3] He is a mixed martial arts, heavy weights and kickboxing champion and became the first Canadian ever to fight in Japan's "Pancrase Hybrid Wrestling" MMA organization.[3]
Since 2000, Paul has been a professional stuntman and actor in Vancouver.[4] Having pro wrestling skills got him into the movie and TV industry[5] and he has more than 140 stunt credits to his name, including famous movies like I, Robot, Catwoman, Elektra, X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the 2005 version of The Fog, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, Deadpool and War for the Planet of the Apes; and TV shows like Andromeda, The Chronicles of Riddick, Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, Human Target, Almost Human, Arrow, iZombie, The Magicians and The 100.[6] At some point, he began cultivated new skills by taking acting classes[5] and his acting credits, most of them minor roles, span more than ninety different movies, TV shows and video games, including several of the titles listed above.[6] One of his most substantial roles was in the 2011 TV movie To The Mat,[5] about a laid-back ex-wrestler (Ricky Schroder) who's trying to keep his family's wrestling school above water.[7]
Paul was previously married to the late wrestler Marianna Komlos. The couple married and divorced in 2004.[8]
