"The Stranger"

Current

Emma Swan: I thought this trip was supposed to be about you.
August Booth: It is. This is my story... and it's your story.

Proposed replacement

August Booth: We're going on a trip, Emma. So I can tell you somebody's story.
Emma Swan: Whose story?
August Booth: Mine.

The suggested quote is similar to the current one, but it is more focused on August, and better reflects the title. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 11:52, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

"Leaving Storybrooke"

Current

I thought my story came to an end a long time ago, and then new people came into my life... People who gave me a second chance. I can't wait to see what's in store for me next. Well, for everyone. I refuse to believe there won't be more adventures, more love, more family. And yes, there will be more loss, because that's just a part of life. And in the end, we can get past it all... with hope.

Regina Mills

Proposed replacement

What if I could bring all the realms to Storybrooke? There would be no more separation. For once, we can... all be together. All the realms of story, secretly tucked away in a forgotten corner in Maine.

Roni to Henry Mills and Sir Henry

This quote has the name "Storybrooke" in it and therefore better reflects the title. Also, this moment is a key plot point from the episode, and an important highlight of the story, and the series. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 11:59, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

"The Return"

Current

Papa... if I find a way for you to get rid of the power, a way that doesn't kill you or hurt me, would you do it?

Baelfire to Rumplestiltskin

Proposed replacement

Ever since you left, ever since you crossed the barriers of time and space, in every waking moment I've been looking for you.

Mr. Gold, to August Booth posing as Baelfire

The title refers to Gold's son being "returned" to him and Gold being "reunited" with his lost son – even though it's not really his son, but August posing as him. The episode quote should reflect that. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 20:35, 22 January 2024 (UTC)

"Sympathy for the De Vil"

Current

A person obsessed with vengeance is easy to manipulate. She thought I believed her happy ending was reconciling with her mother. But I knew she was after something else. Your death.

Mr. Gold to Isaac Heller

Proposed replacement

Cruella De Vil can no longer take away the life of another.

Isaac Heller's fate for Cruella De Vil, read aloud by David Nolan

I would prefer a quote that mentions Cruella's name. This one has the name "De Vil" in it, reflecting the title; and also sums up one of the key plot points of the episode. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 20:37, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Arrow feathers

Current

Roland: For Regina. From one of my papa's arrows.
Zelena: How sweet. She'll cherish it.

Roland and Zelena src

Proposed replacement

I want you to have this. So a piece of Robin is with you always.

Robin of Locksley, to Regina Mills src

This one sounds better and is more poignant. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 14:28, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

"Broken Heart"

Current

Don't worry, love. A broken knee is nothing on a broken heart. Isn't that right, Swan?

Hook to Merida and Emma

Proposed replacement
shortened to

A broken knee is nothing on a broken heart. Isn't that right, Swan?

Hook to Emma Swan

I think the quote packs a better punch without the first sentence. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 16:15, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

"Pretty in Blue"

Current

I know that, where you come from, true love always wins, but mine is a world of broken promises where people never find each other.

Cinderella to Henry

Proposed replacement

I was coming to show you our new uniforms, but clearly wherever you are going is more silk than silk screen.

Sabine to Jacinda Vidrio

The title of this episode is a reference to the 1986 film Pretty in Pink, a movie about a poor girl who falls in love with a rich boy, bridging the gap between social classes and culminating in a ball; a parallel to the "Cinderella" story. The film was written by John Hughes; Cinderella's love interest Henry Mills loves John Hughes movies. Also, in Disney's Cinderella, the titular character dons a blue gown for the royal ball; in this episode, Jacinda wears a blue dress for her dinner at an upscale restaurant with Nick Branson. The current quote does not reflect the title. This one does; it refers to Jacinda's blue dress for her fancy dinner with Nick. (We also have "Now, how 'bout being that best friend -- and zipping me up?", but that would be too weird for an episode quote...) Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 16:44, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

Taste of the Heights

Current

Jacinda: And speaking of cool, tonight's the night... Taste of the Heights is happening.
Lucy: A food fair in an abandoned skate park? Oh, that's so cool!

Jacinda Vidrio and Lucy src

Proposed replacement

Lucy: A food fair in an abandoned skate park? Oh, that's so cool!

Jacinda Vidrio and Lucy src

I wish to keep the current quote, but I think this shortened version is better; that way, the quote is not merely an echo of the quote for the article for the episode "A Taste of the Heights." Also, I think it packs a better punch without the first part. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 18:18, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

"Strange Case"

Current

You see, there's one final twist: I am not the monster you need to worry about.

Mr. Hyde to Mr. Gold

Proposed replacement

So, what do you say, Dr. Jekyll? Ready to let Mr. Hyde back out to play?

Rumplestiltskin to Dr. Jekyll

The episode's title is a reference to the novel Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The article quote should reflect that. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 16:22, 13 February 2024 (UTC)

Pixie Woods

Current

This tree is the site of a very important event for me. I abandoned my boy here.

Peter Pan src

Proposed replacement

Regina: The Pixie Woods? That's where he is?
Lost Boy 1: It's just north of here. It's where the pixie dust used to grow.

Regina Mills and Lost Boy 1 src

The current quote refers to Pan's thinking tree. This one is about the actual woods, and mentions them by name. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 11:36, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

"New York City Serenade"

Current

We never lived in a town called Storybrooke. We never took a flight from Boston to New York. We never did any of this.

Emma Swan to Hook

Proposed replacement

A year ago I was in Boston. Till a fire destroyed my apartment and I moved to New York to have a fresh start with my son.

Emma Swan to Hook

The episode's title is an indirect reference to Emma's current stay in New York. The episode quote should reflect this. Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 12:00, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

  • Agree. BTW, the link is incorrect, it links to a different Twitter post; Lola, could you provide the correct one? Possess you. That is what I say when people sneeze. 😉–Nightlily (sing your song) 22:22, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
