I added some trivia to two articles today, and they were both removed by staff members. One was a Kingdom Hearts reference, which is a Disney collaboration, and the other was a pop culture reference to the number 42. Granted, the latter I made an indented bullet point under Lost, but I was going to go back and create a Pop Culture section and put it there, but at the same time the staff member had already deleted my edit. These fall under the policy for acceptable trivia, so I don't understand why they were deleted.
I looked at what you added in both cases, and I agree that neither point belongs on those articles.
The reference to 42 is a Lost reference, it's just a coincidence with the Hitchhiker's Guide. Same with the "Heartless!" headline. It's not a nod to Kingdom Hearts, it's a nod to the all the heart related stuff going on in the show.
If you feel like something should be included, you're always welcome to make a comment on the relevant article(s) to start a discussion. :)

Hi! I have been thinking of running a bot on another Wikia I am part of, (It will mostly be to fix links) and I was wondering what steps you took with yours? It's all new to me, and I have looked at the community Wikia about how to get one, but some responses are a little confusing. xD
So a "bot" is just an account with a bot "flag" on it. And all a bot flag does is remove that account's edits from the Recent Activity feed.
Unless the process has changed, you need to have a community consensus to give your account a bot flag on the Wikia you want to use it on. Just explain what you'd be using the bot for. And You have to do that for every Wikia you want to use it on.
I also use an automater to make editing with my bot account easier, especially for things like replacing links or phrases.
Ah, thank you! I did manage to find the help page on the community Wikia, and one of the notes they have added is "Your request should include a link to a public discussion on your community or explicit permission from a bureaucrat." I am a bureaucrat on the Wikia I would like to use it, but I'm not sure if that circumvents around the community consensus. I'll send a message to Wikia, just in case. Once again, thank you for the help!! :-)
