Your image of Merida has been deleted. On this wiki, we only use screencaps from actual episodes, and this image is from a promo, a scene which will not actually appear in the Season 5 premiere. In addition, this wiki only uses episode stills from legal sources. Acceptable internet sources for episodes stills are: Netflix, Hulu, ABC.com, iTunes, and Amazon. No other websites are acceptable.
Also, a consensus of five votes are required before you can change an infobox picture. I advise you to review our image policies. If you keep breaking the rules, you will be blocked from editing.
Hello! Just letting you know it is not really nice of yours to take images from this wiki, screencapped by one of our users, and upload them on another wiki. Thanks for you time!
It sure is, but as you've already been told, screencaps stolen from other websites are not allowed here. You must make them yourself. Also, the only acceptable sources for episodes stills are: Netflix, Hulu, ABC.com, iTunes, Amazon, Blu-ray and DVD. No other sources are acceptable. Please review our image policies.
I see. Could you please prove this by making a screencap of the website, while the episode is open? You can upload it to a free image hosting site like Photobucket or Flickr.
Just wanted to talk with you about something. I noticed that you uploaded a lot of videos since the beginning of the 5th season. That's really cool, but each time you upload a new video, you do not follow the format of our video names x) That's not really a big deal or a warning at all; just that each time, someone has to rename them. Would be better if you directly upload them with a good name :)
You can't name videos, it has to be done via pagemove. When you upload, the only input is the video's url, and the name is generated based on the video's name on the website it's from.
Normal users can name videos. I was able to do it when I was a simple user. You just have have to name the video in the url adress before uploading it.
Hello there! In recognition of all your effort in working with images, the admins would like to promote you (and KyleBraxton) to the position of Image Moderator. You'll be able to delete and rename images.
If you're in agreement, I will make all the necessary changes. I'll pick a color for you guys for now; I suggest you get with Kyle to pick a permanent color for the position.
Great! I'm using a fuscia type color for you guys at the moment (You can see it here. If there is a different color you and Kyle would like to use instead, just let me know. Give me a few minutes and your name should be colored all over the site :D
I'll wait for Kyle's opinion. While I think it's a good color, I did just kind of pull it out of thin air, and I don't want you guys to assume you're stuck with it simply because I picked it lol.
I like it! Although, I'm more partial to darker colors. Maybe something along the lines of #5fafa7? I mean, as long as Lola agrees. If not, I'm fine with the color it is currently. xD
Hey, did you guys decide on a color? (Sorry for the delay, I got poked in the eye last week. Definitely don't recommend it; makes it hard to look at computer screens!)
Just the one episode and with Eloise, before she started the ritual on Ivy. Also, Dr. Facilier teleporting in 7x12 teleporting out of the palace and teleporting Naveen somewhere.
Didn't I already add the teleporting scenes from 7x11. I'm a little lost, could you please remnd me what specific teleporting scene you're talking about (I did the one with Gothel teleportng away from Robin, Zelena and Nook in flashbacks and did Eloise teleporting Ivy into the pentagram)?
If your using the iTunes app it wont work. You have to log into itunes on an internet browser like google chrome or firefox. If it still continues to be black, switch browsers.
Can you please tell me how you go about uploading images? I notice that every time you upload an image, there is an empty field under the "summary" headline on the page for the picture. The licensing field is filled out, but there is nothing listed under summary. Summaries are not required in any way (people use them to provide information about their image source, but this is not mandatory), but if you are not going to leave a summary, you should leave out that field instead of adding an empty one.
Sorry about that. When I Upload multiple images, in the summary box, i type in the categories the image belongs to. I didn't realise it left an empty summary heading. Next time I upload, I'll either add my source, or categorise the images one by one, so it doesn't happen again. (btw, when you add images to galleries, do certain parts of the gallery disappear, when you publish?, It happens to me, automatically, alot)
I see. What you can do to avoid this is to skip the licensing field and instead paste everything into the summary field. For example:
==Licensing==
{{Episodestill}}
[[Category:Pilot Images]]
That takes care of the problem and will also categorize the images so you don't have to do it one by one. Or you can simply add your source; it's your call :-)
As for the problem you describe: No, that has not happened to me. It is a mystery to me why this glitch keeps hitting you and not the others. It must be a real pain for you... Have you tried using different browsers? A different computer?
I may be wrong about this, but I believe the reason the issue happens is because when you put in [[Category:Pilot Images]], Wikia thinks that is the summary. I uploaded an image before and it did the exact same thing. It is more of a glitch on Wikia's part than anything.
Also, certain parts of the gallery do not disappear for me. But I do have the issue where the "----" moves itself right after the end of a template, instead of leaving it directly under it. It happens a lot on gallery pages and the cast pages.
Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was just my computer. I use chrome, but I don't have the same issue on other browsers (but I still use chrome because its faster). If your ok with using another browser, the issue shouldn't appear.
I see that the problem is still occurring. Are you still using Chrome? If so, you should switch to a different browser permanently; the way you keep reverting your edits to fix the damage causes a long list of images to appear in Recent Wiki Activity at once and it kind of clogs up the page.
Besides chrome, I only have one other browser, but my main problem is that its too slow. Whenever I edit large galleries, I try to use the other one though
I see. Could you install at least one or two more browsers and try with them? Personally, I have five different browsers on my computer; I even used to have six, before I had to reboot the system; my computer is on its last legs... (Hey, before you judge me; two came with the computer, one came with some software and I downloaded the remaining two ;-) )
Hi. My other compter, which was used to sort galleries, is being used by someone else, so I only have access to my main laptop for now. I don't know how long this will be, so apologies if there are problems when I edit galleries in the future. I have made an enquiry to the community wikia, about this issue.
Hi. Iv'e been usiong another browser, and I thought the problem was dealt with, but it happened again (I assumed it was a problem just on Google Chrome). I've sent a bug report, and I messaged on the community wikia for help, but I haven;t got any response back. Do you have any suggestions?
All I can think of is that you contact Wikia, which I guess you've already done? If you have the same problem with a different browser, then I have no idea what's causing this.
