Hi. The reason why I made my recent edits to Template:MagicColorsTable was to simplify the jumble of replica images.
Yes, the maximum number of images for each color is typically three, however that does not mean we have to have three for each. Images such as 1,2 and 3 for Amara, or 1, 2 and 3 for Lily are from the same display of magic in the same scene of a single episode.
It is unnecessary and illogical to have essentially duplicate images listed when only one of them will suffice, hence why I removed all but one of each set.
I get where you're coming from, but it doesn't really matter if they're from the same display of magic and there's nothing that images from the same display of magic can't be used. For Drizella, they're the only displays of her magic (with smoke) for the time being. For Drizella's and the others, they're the only displays of magic shown. They may be similiar, but they're not duplicates.

Indeed they are similar, practically identical, taken mere seconds apart from the same shot. They may currently be the only display of magic shown for each character, but more can easily be added over time, versus three of the same. It just seems illogical.
She is not teleporting herself or Rapunzel on her own, she is using a bottle of magic (dust? dirt? sand? something?) that is later used by Rapunzel with the same appearance and result. So, no, it would count as part of whatever spell she prepared.
For the Black Fairy, do you know how to fix it? It isn't formatted properly between Black and Dark Purple and Pale Yellow? I also want to add a new color and don't exactly know how without causing more problems. In Where Bluebirds Fly, she "emits" a purple/violet colored light. I tried fixing it but can't without messing it up either way.
It has been fixed, the initial blast is the same colour as her dark purple.
On an unrelated note, may I please reiterate, we do not need essentially duplicate images from the same scene, literally frames apart, showing a single display of magic. I have removed such from Amara.
The colour only seems weaker than her other examples of dark purple magic as it is a shallow blast of magic that is dissipating as it expands, there is no "solid" display like smoke or a strong aura of magic (i.e. hand blasts, fairy dust, etc.).
Also, please do not upload cropped images (I'm referring to the picture of Gold teleporting in "Firebird", which I've replaced with a proper version) - we don't use them on this wiki, unless we absolutely have to.
Hi. In response to your editing on Template:MagicColorsTable, I would like to note that it is preferable to retain older references to magic colours to show that the color has been used more than in just the last few episodes and to show consistency on-screen.
You are welcome to add newer references in, but please do not remove the old ones and please do not add monstrous amounts of references: one per season for each smoke and other manifestation (depending on the way the other manifestation is shown) should do the trick. Thanks.
There are only suppose to be a minimum of 3 references though, not 4 or 5. It is not necessary to have older references from past seasons and there are suppose to be a maximum of 3 references only from both Nightlily and Lady Junky themselves.
In regards to quoting Nightlily and Lady Junky, they have said that it is preferable to keep 3 references (which I have mostly done, some listing 4 to include your persistent current references) with Lady additionally suggesting to maintain some references from past seasons for clarity.
Lady Junky wrote:
So, the best would be to take them from different episodes or different seasons, I guess?
Yes, there are no concrete rules dictating what should and should not be added, but based on previous, long-standing edits, a reference or two from past seasons (keeping the total no. references low) is preferable and has been the consensus for a long period.
Nightlily said 1 to 3 and Lady Junky said 3 references max. Lady Juny also said you could add from past seasons and she said OR different seasons, but it is not necessary. Nightlily also said the color stays the same, so again it is not necessary to have from past seasons.
We do not use images with an ABC logo (or any other kinds of logos), and the only acceptable internet sources for episodes stills are Netflix, Hulu, ABC.com, iTunes, and Amazon.
Promo pics are not added to character galleries, only to actor galleries. In addition, we only use promo pics that come directly from ABC, via an official, sanctioned link, and these pics are uploaded by Utter solitude.
An infobox pic requires a consensus of five votes before it can be added.
Clearly, you didn't follow my advice about reading the image policies. If you had, you would have known all this. Your images have been deleted. In the future, please follow the rules.
I noticed that you changed the infobox pic of Protection Spell page without asking a consensus first. You don't have the right to do that according to our policies.
"If you would like to change an infobox image on a character's page, we require that you post in the comments section of the page, and get a consensus, namely at least five affirmative votes from users, on what image should be used first. Note that in doing this, the image's whole URL link on the Wiki itself can be added in the comment, but do not copy and paste in the bracketed "File:___.jpg" or "File:___png" as it will post the actual image in your comment. This helps prevent edit wars over images. A photo which is cropped out to use as a character's profile photo should not be placed in any gallery.
Any questions or concerns about suggesting a photo or getting a consensus can be directed towards an administrator.
Cropped images are discouraged from being used in infoboxes, and will only be accepted when absolutely necessary."
That's not the first time that you don't follow our images policies, even when another staff member asked you to read them. So yeah, I think it is gonna be your last chance with pics now.
Moreover, don't think we won't see anymore your warnings by another staff member if you decide to delete the messages on your wall. Not like that it happens on our wiki, and you're not supposed to delete these messages.
