It was nice coming back because I saw a lot of familiar faces. I had been on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, which was a spinoff of Once. That was years ago, and I played one of the Tweedles. And getting to be a part of a big network show–ABC–is always fun. And when you do these kinds of big jobs with all these special effects, you sometimes feel like no acting is required. You're a part of the show, you are put in your place, and then the magic just takes over. And absolutely fantastic locations as well.

Matty Finochio is the Canadian actor who portrays Tweedledee on ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and Marcus Tremaine on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Matty Finocchio is from the port city of Hamilton, Ontario. He is of Italian descent and comes from a family who is involved with show business; his father is a comedy writer and his uncle is an actor.[2] He has four brothers.[1] When Matty was in fourth grade, his family was living in Los Angeles, where his father was doing a show. He participated in a school program in the neighborhood of Sherman Oaks, and the way the audience responded to his single line made him realize that he wanted to become an actor.[2] He did plays in high school and elementary school, before attending theater school. Afterward, he worked at a restaurant for a while, before auditioning for and landing a role with a dinner theater show.[2]

After doing a series of independent films, Matty appeared on the drama series The L Word and landed his first role with a major network.[2] He has guest starred on TV series such as Masters of Horror, About a Girl, Reaper, Aliens in America, Sanctuary, Supernatural and Witches of East End. Some of his television movie credits include Wolf Canyon, Riverworld and Merry In-Laws. He is known for his work on the films 50/50, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and Shark Out of Water.[3]
