Lisa Banes was the American actor who played Lady Tremaine on Season Six of ABC's Once Upon a Time.
Biography
Lisa was born in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She started acting at the Juilliard School in New York City.[1]
Banes was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 1984 for Isn't it Romantic? and won a 1981 Theatre World Award for her performance as Alison Porter Off-Broadway in the realist play Look Back in Anger.[3] She is best known for playing Dr. Renhol in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Equilibrium", Headmistress Elsa Higgins in Legally Blondes and Alison Porter in the 1980 film Look Back in Anger, based on the play of the same name.
Banes died on June 14, 2021 from a traumatic brain injury ten days after being struck in a hit-and-run accident in New York City.[2]
