Lake Onondaga is an Enchanted Forest location featured in the extended universe of ABC's Once Upon a Time. It débuts, with its only appearance, in the graphic fiction novel, Shadow of the Queen.

Before First Curse

When the Evil Queen allies with a pack of werevolves to kill Snow White, the Huntsman and Red Riding Hood join forces to protect her. The three head to a northern mystical lake named Onondaga in the Evil Queen's kingdom, which contains a magic totem to transform a person into another creature and experience life as an animal. The Huntsman believes if the totem is used on the shape shifting werewolves, they will become normal wolves and give them a chance of winning in battle. On arrival, they marvel at the lake's beauty and the Huntsman finds an ancient tree where the totem is hidden. However, the werewolves quickly are close on their trail and the Evil Queen orders the pack to kill Snow White, who runs onto the frozen lake to distract them. Realizing she is buying him time, he runs to the tree while Red Riding Hood goes to help her friend. Although the Huntsman shoots down some of the werewolves, the ice beneath his female companions cracks and they fall in. With the totem in hand, the Huntsman dives into the icy lake's waters, and uses it to transform himself, Snow White and Red Riding Hood into aquatic creatures. Adair believes the three have perished, but the Evil Queen can sense otherwise, despite not knowing the magical properties of the item in the Huntsman's grasp. Underwater, the trio below, until the effects of the totem wear off, and they are forced to resurface. ("Shadow of the Queen")
