Keegan Connor Tracy is the Canadian actor who portrays the Blue Fairy, Mother Superior and Blue Fairy (Wish Realm) on ABC's Once Upon a Time.
Biography
Tracy Armstrong,[1] professionally known as Keegan Connor Tracy, was born on December 3, 1971 in Windsor, Ontario. Later moving to Sarnia, she attended St. Patrick's High School[2] before studying business and social psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.[1]
She has appeared in dozens of television series shot in and around the British Columbia city, including V, Battlestar Galactica, Da Vinci’s Inquest, and Jake 2.0. Keegan was the ill-fated survivor Kat Jennings in the 2003 film, Final Destination 2 and held a starring role in A&E's Bates Motel as student Norman Bates' teacher and advisor Miss Watson.[1] Her other movie appearances include 40 Days and 40 Nights, Bruce Paltrow’s Duets, White Noise with Michael Keaton, Carl Bessai’s Bloodlines and Robert Redford’s The Company You Keep. She has worked with a number of luminaries in both film and television, such as Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Josh Hartnett and Ginnifer Goodwin.[3] In 2015, she played Belle in Disney's Descendants,[4] and reprised her role in Descendants 2.[5]
She is married to Ez Mitchell, and has two daughters.[6]

- During casting, Keegan Connor Tracy went through four auditions to get the part of the Blue Fairy.[8]
- During her appearance in the Once Upon a Time episode, "The Queen Is Dead", Keegan portrayed the Blue Fairy as the disguised form of Cora.
- Her favorite season is the first one.[9]
- Studied mixed martial arts.[10]
- Lived in France for two years in her mid-twenties and became fluent in French.[11]
- Originally auditioned for the role of Maleficent on Disney: Descendants, but landed the role of Belle instead.[12]
- Appears in the Descendants franchise along with Whoopi Goldberg (Mrs. Rabbit), Dianne Doan (Isra), Dan Payne (Captain of the Guard/Ivo), Anna Cathcart (Tween Drizella), Luke Roessler (Young David/Young James) and Faustino di Bauda (Sleepy/Walter/Wish Sleepy).
- During her appearance in the episode "Our Decay", Keegan portrayed Mother Superior as the disguised form of Zelena.
- In CBC's Heartland, Tracy's character refers to herself as a fairy godmother, possibly hinting at her role as the Blue Fairy.
- After the announcement that the seventh season would be the final season of the series, she wrote the following on Instagram:
