History

During First Curse

Newly-arrived in Storybrooke, Emma is served hot cocoa with cinnamon by Ruby, who says a secret admirer ordered it for her. Emma assumes it was Graham and even points that he guessed right about the cinnamon, because not everybody is a fan of it, but the sheriff says it was not him who sent her the drink. Henry then reveals himself to be the secret admirer and explains that he, too, enjoys cinnamon. Later, Emma goes to see Mary Margaret at her loft. Taking a sip from the hot cocoa the schoolteacher served her, Emma comments about the cinnamon on it. Mary Margaret replies that she should have asked before adding it, because not everyone likes cinnamon, but Emma says she actually does like it. ("The Thing You Love Most")

While waiting for Mary Margaret, who is coming to share the news about her reading to John Doe at the hospital, Emma and Henry drink hot cocoa with cinnamon. ("Snow Falls")

One morning, Emma is at the diner reading the newspaper when Regina approaches to let her know that she found out about her history of not living for too long in the same place, indicataing that her staying in Storybrooke is temporary and soon to be over. After Regina leaves, telling her to enjoy her hot cocoa with cinnamon, Emma drops the beverage all over herself, which prompts her to go to the laundry room, where she meets Ashley. ("The Price of Gold")

One day, shortly before August enters the diner to talk to Henry, Ruby serves the kid a cup of hot cocoa with cinnamon. ("Heart of Darkness")

After First Curse

The devious Peter Pan switches bodies with Henry, but Emma feels something is wrong. At the town line, she confronts "Pan", who tries to prove he is actually Henry by saying he likes hot cocoa with cinnamon, ultimately convincing her and everyone else hat he is indeed her son. ("The New Neverland")

During Second Curse

In New York City, Emma makes breakfast for herself and Henry, which includes two cups of hot cocoa. Henry points out that something is missing, and Emma adds cinnamon in their drink. ("Going Home")

In Storybrooke, at the diner, Ruby approaches Henry, who just came back from New York with no recollection of his former life, and serves him hot cocoa with cinnamon. The kid is curious about why she added cinnamon in it, to which the waitress says it was a lucky guess. ("Witch Hunt")

Awaiting news from Belle as she researches what spell Zelena intends to cast, Emma shows off her strengthening magic skills at the diner by teleporting a cup of hot cocoa with cinnamon from the diner counter to Hook's table. ("Bleeding Through")

After Second Curse

After Emma is rescued from the ice wall Elsa conjured, her family helps warm her up. While Hook wraps her in a blanket, Henry offers to make her hot cocoa with cinnamon. ("White Out")

Later, Henry is served a cup of hot cocoa with cinnamon from Granny's Diner and takes a sip from it while his adoptive mother Regina gifts him new comic books. ("Rocky Road")

After Third Curse
In New York City, Snow enjoys hot cocoa with cinnamon while Emma shares her concerns on Regina. Determined to get Regina to make peace with herself, Snow reaches her on the building roof bringing a hot drink for her friend. As Regina points out that she, unlike Snow, doesn't add cinnamon in her cocoa, the schoolteacher pours some alcohol in the cup before handing it to Regina. ("An Untold Story")
