So, how is little Hope?

Henry to Emma src

Hope is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. She débuts, with her only appearance, in the twenty-second episode of the seventh season.

History

After Fourth Curse

Sometime after Emma Swan's son, Henry Mills, departs for the New Enchanted Forest, Emma becomes pregnant with Hope. When Henry calls for Emma, Hook, and his adoptive mother Regina Mills's help in facing Lady Tremaine, Emma stays behind in order to keep from endangering the unborn baby. However, she eventually decides to go to the New Enchanted Forest to see Henry anyway, revealing to him that she is pregnant. Unbeknownst to her, Killian has been replaced by his counterpart from the Wish Realm, who plotted to have Emma fall in love with him; however, once he learns Killian is about to be a father, he has a change of heart as he was separated from his daughter and cannot bring himself to do the same to another man. Before Emma and Killian return to Storybrooke, they encourage the Wish Realm Killian to join forces with Henry and Regina, who agree to help him reunite with his daughter. ("A Pirate's Life")

After Sixth Curse

Emma gives birth to a daughter, who is named Hope. As Hope's parents prepare to attend Regina's coronation at the Royal Castle, the baby starts acting fussy, causing Emma and Hook to be late. A flustered Emma burst through the doors with a carry-on bag as Hook follows her in with their daughter in his arms. As Emma greets Henry, she asks him to give Killian a hand with the baby, and Hook hands the baby over to Henry. As he holds his half-sibling, he asks how she's doing. As the crowd gives a resounding applause to Roni's speech about the wonders and losses that are a part of life and make people who they are, Emma cradles Hope as she and Hook watch on. ("Leaving Storybrooke")
