Frances has also gained acclaim for her work in the period films Mansfield Park and Madame Bovary. She broke into the Hollywood scene with roles like the comedy Bedazzled, the Steven Spielberg science fiction film Artificial Intelligence: A.I, the British romantic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest and sci-fi flick Timeline.[4] Her other acting ventures include Iron Jawed Angels, Cashmere Mafia and Mr Selfridge.
