|SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Many years ago. Cyrus is playing a card game with a group of thugs as Cyrus' brothers watch in a tavern.----
Thug #1: (frustrated) Take. (Thug picks up a card.)
Thug #2: Pass. (Cyrus puts his compass into the pot.)
Thug #1: What are you doing?
Cyrus: Uppin' the ante.
Thug #2: With a compass?
Cyrus: It's a golden compass with magical properties. It'll point to anything you've lost in your life (Thug #2 picks it up to examines it) ... and you wish to find again. In your case, you might be some soap. So what do you say, gentlemen? In or out!
Taj: (whispers into Cyrus' ear.) That's enough, brother. It's better to quit while we're ahead.
Cyrus: Quitting while you're ahead is still quitting. You worry to much, Taj. Trust me. (Thug matches with rolled up valuables.)
Thug #1: In.
Cyrus: ''Capo" (Cyrus reveals his winning hand and then grabs the money. Thug #1 slams the table.)
Thug #1: You cheating bastard!
Cyrus: Well, it'd be difficult to prove I cheated, since you just ruined the game. Better luck next time. (Cyrus goes to grab the money off the floor. The thug stands on his hand. Cyrus pushes him back. He grabs Cyrus and winds back to punch him.)
Bartender: Hey, hey. Enough, enough! Leave, now!
Thug #1: You'll pay for this.
Cyrus: Not as much as you did. (The thug growls and leaves with the other thug following behind.) Well, now that that's settled, mahia for everyone! (The whole tavern cheer as Cyrus' brothers exchange glances.)
SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Night. Cyrus and his brothers are laughing as they walk back home.
Rafi: I still can't believe your luck. Only you can have that many good hands in a row, Cyrus.
Cyrus: Not even me.
Taj: He cheated.
Cyrus: Come, come. It's only cheating if I get caught. Otherwise, it's considered luck.
Taj: One day, your luck will run out, Cyrus. You have to learn to play the hand you're dealt. (Cyrus and his brothers see the thug walk out of his house.)
Rafi: What are they doing at our home?
Cyrus: Rafi, give me your knife (The thugs ride by the brothers on their horses as the house catches fire.)
Rafi: Cyrus! Mother's inside!
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Hideout in the Outlands.
Cyrus: The whole time Jafar kept me captive, he had my brothers right there. How could I not have noticed?
Red Queen: Don't punish yourself. Even Jafar didn't know about your relations. If he had he definitely would've used it against you.
Alice: Either way we're going to do whatever it takes to free them.
Knave: And me? That's my house his holdin' now. And frankly, I hate it. There's not a lot of elbow room and you know what else there isn't?
Alice: Please don't tell us.
Knave: A toilet!
Alice: Anyway! The first thing we have to do is to tell us where the bottles are. (to Red Queen) If Jafar's moved into your palace, do you think he would've moved the bottles with him?
Red Queen: Absolutely.
Alice: Well, in that case, we just need to do is break into the palace and take them.
Red Queen: Oh, yeah. Because it's really that simple. The four of us is no match for Jafar's magic. The only thing that's going to protect us is an army. My army!
Cyrus: In case you haven't noticed your army has deserted you. And your former subjects are willing to let you get eaten alive by Mome Raths.
Red Queen: I'm quite aware of people's feeling towards me. I'm just gonna have to prove them wrong
Cyrus: Why fight Jafar, when we can simply disarm him. My brothers and I weren't born as genies. We were cursed. If I can break that curse...
Alice: You can free them.
Knave: I'm particularly fond about the bit where you get the genies out of the bottles. That's good.
Cyrus: But if I can get to the place where the curse was made, perhaps I can make a way to undo it.
Alice: Well, who was it that cursed you?
Cyrus: The Guardian of the Well of Wonders in Agrabah.
Knave: Oh Agrabah. How the bloody hell are we gonna get back there.
Red Queen: If it's the Well of Wonders that you need, Wonderland has its own. Magical waters flow underneath all of the Lands. You seek the Guardian of Waters, all you have to do is swim in it.
Cyrus: ALright, then. Let's go!
Red Queen:Have you ever considered what happens if fail? Every moment wasted is another chance for Jafar to get his hands on the last genie. The only thing that is going to save Will is an army.
Cyrus: If I free my brothers, Jafar doesn't need Will.
Knave: So we split up.
Red Queen: Yeah!
'Cyrus: (and Red Queen) We split up!
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Lizard's Village. The whole neighborhood is sleeping off last night's magical party in the main square. Absolute silence as the Jabberwocky walks through. She finds a villager to terrorize. The Jabberwocky blows in his ear to wake him.
Jabberwocky: Did I wake you? (She magically appears behind the villager and grabs his hat.) Going somewhere? Not so fast. Tell me about the genie. Or would you rather talk about your two children. They're being bathe by their mother in the river as we speak. How quickly can she get there you're wondering? How will she kill them? Will she have mercy on the ba-by? The answers are: very fast; very slow and no. I don't care much for babies.
Jabberwocky: Sssh. Jabber, jabber, jabber. All you people do is jabber. The genie, where is he?
Villager: He was here. But I don't know where he went.
Jabberwocky: Who was he with? (Jabberwocky whispers into his ear.)
Villager: She lives there. Please, please don't kill me.
Jabberwocky: You misunderstand. I don't have to kill you because you already scared to death. (Villager falls down dead. The Jabberwocky walks to Lizards house and tears down the door. She see's Lizards corpse lying on the floor.) Oh. Pity. (She looks around to see if she can find anything. Jabberwocky sees Lizard once last time and smiles. She takes out a knife and approaches Lizard.)
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Wonderland Castle. Jafar unwraps a bloody cloth to reveal a pair of eyeballs.
Jafar: What exactly have you brought me?
Jabberwocky: A parting glance. Those belong the genie's previous master. A pretty girl in a pretty dress.
Jafar: And you couldn't have asked her where the bottle was.
Jabberwocky: She died before I had the opportunity. I assumed a sorcerer like yourself would find a way to make those useful.
Jafar: I must admit. I like a girl who thinks on their feet. (Jafar places the eyeballs in a bowl and pours a liquid into it. Waving his serpent staff he does an enchantment.) De visu intueri. Visionae revelarae. (A blue mist appears and in it, a vision of the Red Queen.) She has the genie.
Jabberwocky: Is that good news or bad?
Jafar: Bring me the Queen.
SCENE: Agrabah. Past. The brothers have taken their mother to a healer. A healer says enchantments as she waves her hands over her body.
Rafi: So you think this Well of Wonders can save mama?
Cyrus: I haven't seen it my self but I've heard stories. The water inside is said to contain magical properties.
Rafi: Magical properties?
Cyrus: Legend has it, it can make a cowardly man brave, a greedy man generously, a sick man healthy. It might be the only way to save momma.
Rafi: Is it close?
Cyrus: It's a day's journey or maybe less if we move fast.
Taj: You heard the healer. She may not last another day.
Cyrus: So you would rather watch our mother die then fight to save her.
Taj: No, of course not. But what if the legends are false. What if while we're gone, she dies alone.
Cyrus: We have to do something!
Taj: This is not your fault, Cyrus. You could've never have know that they were going to come--
Cyrus: The way to the Well is dangerous. Three men will stand a better chance than one but if you're unwilling to risk it, I will go alone.
Taj: I'm the first-born son. If anyone has a duty it is me.
Cyrus: Then we share this burden together brothers. We move fast and we let nothing stand in our way.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Cyrus and Alice walk along a path towards the Well of Wonders.
Alice: Are you looking forward to seeing your brothers again?
Cyrus: Yeah, of course.
Alice: How did you get cursed into the bottles in the first place. No never told me.
Cyrus: Didn't I?
Alice: I think so.
Cyrus: Probably because there's not much to tell. We were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Alice: You didn't do anything? Not even something that might've been mistaken for--
Cyrus: It was so long ago, I barely even remember. Besides, there's no point in dwelling on it now. It's all in the past. C'mon. If we pick up the pace, we can get to the Well of Wonders within the hour.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. White Rabbit's House. Knave knocks on the door.
White Rabbit: Nobody's home?
Knave: Ah, Rabbit. Don't be that way.
White Rabbit: No Rabbit here. Just a happy family enjoying some quality time together...Alone.
Knave: This won't take more than a minute.
White Rabbit: Time is a precious commodity, Knave. One minute is sixty seconds which is sixty thousand milliseconds. Do you know how much I can accomplish in sixty thousand milliseconds.
Knave: You won't be enjoying any milliseconds if I hadn't found your bloody family! Now open the door. (White Rabbit opens the door.)
White Rabbit: (sighs) What is it you want?
Knave: It's not about what I want. It's about what she wants. (The Red Queen comes round the corner to reveal herself. The White Rabbit goes running inside.)
Red Queen: Please, Rabbit. Don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt ya.
White Rabbit: You've already taken my wife, my children, my honor. What more could you possibly want from me?
Red Queen: Your forgiveness. What I took from you I can never give back. There's nothing I can offer you to make up for what you've already lost. But what I can say is that I'm sorry. Terribly sorry.
White Rabbit: What's done is done. Why do you care if I forgive you?
Red Queen: Because I need your help.
White Rabbit: With what?
Red Queen: Becoming the Queen everyone deserves. I want to defeat Jafar and reclaim Wonderland but not for me, for the people and I need you to tell them, they can trust me.
White Rabbit: Has she competely lost her mind?
Knave: She wants to change.
White Rabbit: Oh.
Knave: Whether or not she's capable of it, only time will tell.
White Rabbit: Unfortunately, defeating Jafar has become the least of your problems.
Red Queen: Why's that?
White Rabbit: Jafar has unleashed the Jabberwocky! (The Red Queen is speechless.)
Knave: What's the Jabberwocky?
Red Queen: Who told him?
White Rabbit: I don't know how or why. I just know she's out.
Knave: Is that bad?
White Rabbit: I suppose now you want me to take you out of Wonderland before you finds you.
Knave: That sounds like an excellent id--
Red Queen: No! We are not leaving!
Knave: Not going.
Red Queen: I said I was going to save Wonderland and I meant it. If the Jabberwocky's been released, all the more reason to stay and fight. Now, Rabbit, I'm not going to force you to do anything but if you care about Wonderland, what it once was and what it can be again. Then I'm going to need you to help me. Portal to every corner of the realm and tell the people that the battle for Wonderland is about to begin.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. The Red Queen and Knave travel through the woods to try and warn Alice and Cyrus.
Red Queen: Quickly, Will. We have to find Alice and Cyrus and warn them.
Knave: About this Jabber-person...
Red Queen: Yeah, the Jabberwocky's been released. It's not safe for any of us to be about in the open.
Knave: I can't help but notice, we'll still out in the open.
Red Queen: Don't be so scared, okay?
Knave: Stop scaring me, then.
Red Queen: Will, I'm being serious. The Jabberwocky feeds off fear. She can smell it.
Knave: Remind me again why we didn't take the Rabbit's offer to leave Wonderland.
Red Queen: Because Jafar's going to destroy Wonderland.
Knave: The real reason. The Rabbit might've bought that performance but he doesn't know you like I do. You don't make anything that's about making life more comfortable for you. So what's your angle?
Red Queen: There is no angle, Will. I-I made a mistake. I tried to rewrite the past and fix things between us. But instead I ended up destroying the future. It's not about making life more comfortable for myself. Because I can never be comfortable again. Not without you in my life. But I can make everyone else's life more comfortable. And the only way I can do that is by getting rid of Jafar.
Knave: You really think you can do that? (An eerily silence falls upon the woods. The Red Queen freezes.) What is it? You hear something?
Red Queen: I hear nothing. Get back in your bottle, Will.
Knave: What? I don't bloody thing so.
Red Queen: No, I'm not asking ya, I'm telling ya! Get back in your bottle, genie! You can thank me later. (She hides the bottle in some bushes.) C'mon, then! Show your face! (The Jabberwocky appears behind her. She turns around and no one's there.) Where are ya?! (The Jabberwocky comes up from behind.)
Jabberwocky: Good afternoon, Your Majesty. (The Red Queen turns around, hand ready to perform magic but the Jabberwocky's gone.)
Jabberwocky: (voice) You'll have to do better than that.
Red Queen: Wh-what's the matter?! You're afraid, Jabber! (Jabberwocky laughs.)
Jabberwocky: (voice) I'm not the one trembling. (The Red Queen grabs a long stick and snaps it.) I can feel your nightmares. (The Red Queen magically transforms it into a sword. The Jabberwocky laughs.) I can taste your dread. Your fear...oh. You fear I'm going to find the bottle. (singing) I know something you don't know. (The Jabberwocky appears behind the Queen.)
Jabberwocky: I've already found it. (The Red Queen thrusts the blade into the Jabberwocky pinning her to a nearby tree. The Jabberwocky instead of writhing in pain begins to laugh. She pushes her body out, freeing herself. The Red Queen is breathing rapidly. The Jabberwocky mockily imitates her.) There's only one blade that can do me harm. (The Red Queen throws herself at the Jabberwocky. Jabberwocky grabs her.) And that wasn't it. (The Jabberwocky head butts the Queen knocking her out cold. She finds the hidden bottle.) Come now, genie...The fun's just beginning.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Alice and Cyrus continue on the path.
Alice: According to this map, the Well of Wonders should be straight ahead. (The stop to see two red doors and a white knight in between.) What in the world? Excuse me, sir. We just--
White Knight: Two doors appear along a stony path and travelers always wonder;
Which door will lead them to the Well and which will drag them under.
Choose poorly and meet certain doom. There is no room for blunder.
Cyrus: Some kind of a riddle?
Alice: Sir...Knight. We have somewhere important to be. If you could just tell us which door to choose, we would greatly appreciate it. It's not polite to ignore people. You should respond when someone talks to you. (to Cyrus) He's not responding.
Cyrus: We don't have time for games. Let's just walk around.
Alice: Ah, it's alright. We just gotta figure out what door to use.
Alice: Could you please give us a hint?
Cyrus: Answer us!
Alice: I don't think yelling at him is going to--
Cyrus: I'm tired of my fate being decided by others. People telling me what I can and cannot do. I thought when I got out of the bottle that things...I'm sorry Alice. It's just- This can't be the only way.
Alice: I wish there was other way. Sometimes you just have to play the hand you've been dealt.
SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Well of Wonders.
Cyrus: This must be the place.
Rafi: How much should we take?
Cyrus: As much as we can. (The three brothers fill their bottles with water. Suddenly a hand from the water grab them. They stand back as the Guardian of the Well appears from the water.)
Nyx: I am Nyx. Guardian of the Well of Wonders. Who disturbs my slumber?
Cyrus: I'm Cyrus. These are my brothers. We come on behalf of our mother.
Nyx: (with eyes closed) Your mother...she is badly burned.
Nyx: (with eyes closed) She's in pain.
Cyrus: Which is why we've come. We've been told your water contains magic. (Nyx opens her eyes.) Magic that can heal her.
Nyx: My water can heal only those who's destiny have yet to be written. Your mother's fate has already been sealed. She will die.
Cyrus: No. You must be mistaken.
Nyx: I'm sorry for your suffering but this water is not meant for you.
Cyrus: Why must she die from a mistake that I made. Answer me!
Nyx: Return the water. Or pay the price... (Nyx descends into the water. Taj and Rafi uncapp the bottles to pour the water back. Cyrus walks away.)
Rafi: Where are you going?
Taj: With the water?! You heard what she said.
Cyrus: I heard a warning.
Taj: It is one thing to cheat at cards, Cyrus. It's another thing to cheat the Fates.
Cyrus: But we have no choice. There's only fighting or laying down. Courage or cowardice. I know which one I choose. The question is, do you? I cannot, will not let her die from a mistake that I made. That's not fate. That's fault. My fault. And this what we have in our hand is what I have to atone for that mistake. Will you take that from me, brothers?
Taj: So you ask us to steal this water for you or for momma?
Cyrus: For momma, of course.
Rafi: Okay. For momma.
Taj: For momma.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. At the door that leads to the Well of Wonders.
Alice: Two doors. One leads us to the Well of Wonders. And the other drags us under? Under what? So you're not going to answer any of my questions?
White Knight: Yes.
Alice: You will?
White Knight: No.
Alice: But you just did. You can only answer yes or no?
White Knight: No.
Alice: Did you just say no?
White Knight: No.
Cyrus: This is ridiculous. There has to be another way, Alice.
Alice: Is there another way?
White Knight: Yes.
Cyrus: Good. Ask what it is?
Alice: Wait. We already tried to go around and it didn't work. He's lying.
Alice: That's the riddle. You're a liar, aren't you?
White Knight: No.
Alice: That means yes. Does this door lead me to the Well of Wonders?
White Knight: Yes. (Alice walks to the other door.)
Alice: Thank you very much. (Alice opens the door to a path through a jungle at the end: the Well of Wonders! The White Knight fades away.)
Cyrus: You did it.
Alice: I'm good at riddles.
Cyrus: You're good at everything. (Alice smiles. She grabs Cyrus by the hand to enter but Cyrus hesitates.)
Alice: What's wrong, my love? There's something. I felt it all day.
Cyrus: I can't...
Alice: Of course you can. You can tell me anything Cyrus.
Cyrus: Alright. I don't want you to come any further. I need to do this alone.
Cyrus: This is my burden. My curse to break.
Alice: But I-I-I thought...
Cyrus: Why must you be so stubborn, Alice! I'm sorry.
Alice: It's fine. Just go.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Wonderland Castle. Dungeon. Red Queen wakes up to see Will strapped to a chair.
Red Queen: Will...
Jafar: Good. You're awake. (Red Queen is startled. She tries to get up but realizes she's strapped to a chair too. Jafar grabs the bottle propped on the cell bars.) Anastasia and Will. Reunited at last. Tell me. Is it everything you imagined?
Red Queen: You can spare us the expense of the insufferable small talk, Jafar. Or is that your idea of torture.
Jafar: Unfortunately, for you, I have something else in mind.
Red Queen: We've been down this road before. We both know how it's gonna end. I'm the master of the genie. I have three wishes. In order for your spell to work I have to make those wishes so the genie goes back into the bottle.
Jafar: I couldn't have said it better myself.
Red Queen: Then you got nothin' to threaten me with. You can't kill me. You can't kill Will.
Jafar: Right again.
Red Queen: I'd say you're out of moves, Jafar. Why don't you untie me? We can come to some sort of an agreement. Did our partnership mean nothing to you?
Jafar: I had a partner. Once along time ago. Her name was Amara. Lovely woman. Much like yourself. And also like you. She believed firmly in cooperation. Unfortunately, we did not see eye to eye in the best way to achieve our goals. So I found another use for her. (Jafar picks up his serpent staff and its eyes glow red.) I always get what I want! One way or another you will make those wishes! What happens next, it can either be painful or severely painful. Choose wisely. As Amara now knows, there are fates far worse than death.
Knave: You heard him. Make your wish.
Red Queen: I can't
Knave: Yes, you can. Just wish him out of Wonderland now! (Jafar swings his staff at Knave and his seat slides back into the bars.)
Red Queen: Jafar, I wish you out of-- (Jafar points his staff at the Red Queen. She magically loses her voice.)
Jafar: It would never have worked between us, darling. But don't feel bad. I've moved on. I found someone else. Someone promising. And I believe you've already met. (The Jabberwocky slowly walks in.) We need her wishes. Don't stop until she's broken. (The Jabberwocky looks straight into the Red Queen's eyes.)
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Idyllic Garden. Well of Wonders. Cyrus walks through some tall grass to finally get to the Well. He cups some water with his hands and immediately Nyx appears from the water.
Nyx: You again. Have you come to steal more water?
Cyrus: I don't want your water.
Nyx: Then, what is it you want?
Cyrus: I want your mercy.
Nyx: You should know better than anyone. I do not dispense mercy to those who do not deserve it.
Cyrus: Please, I beg you!
Nyx: All things happen for a reason. Only with time will you understand what that reason is.
SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Cyrus' house.
Healer: You made it. (Cyrus gently pours the water down their mother's mouth.)
Cyrus: That's it, Momma. That's it. Your water, she needs more. (Cyrus' brothers hand over their bottles and Cyrus sprinkles the water over their mother's covered body.)
Healer: Perhaps this was her fate along. (Cyrus tries to hold back the tears. Suddenly she wakes up with a huge gasp.) Deep breaths, now. That's it. (The healer takes off the bandages and damaged skin is restored before their very eyes.) It's a miracle. (The healer picks up the brother's mother to reveal Amara.) C'mon, come. you're alive, Amara. You're sons, they saved you.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Idyllic Garden. Well of Wonders.
Cyrus: A wish released me from the bottle, released me from your curse. Now that I'm free, I beg for mercy. (Alice is hiding in the long grass eavesdropping.) Not for myself but for my brothers. They are innocent.
Nyx: They took from me as did you.
Cyrus: Only as I asked of them. What I demanded of them. It was my fault. I was foolish. I was arrogant. But I understand now. After spending lifetimes granting the wishes of arrogant fools. I understand there are no shortcuts. That sometimes life is as it should be. I have learnt my lesson. Don't punish my brothers for my arrogance. (Cyrus gets on his knees.) Please, I beg you. Release them from their curse.
Nyx: Only when the water is returned can the curse be lifted.
Cyrus: I can't return the water. I gave it to my mother over a hundred years ago. I'm afraid she's long dead now.
Nyx: No, your mother lives.
Cyrus: That's not possible.
Nyx: Return the water, and the curse shall be lifted.
Cyrus: Tell me where I can find her. (Nyx slowly descends into the water.) No wait! Please, no. Tell me where she is. Wait, please! Come back. Where is she? Come back!
SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Cyrus' house.
Cyrus: You're back. We thought you were lost to us forever.
Taj: How do you feel?
Amara: Strange. Like I've slept for a hundred years.
Cyrus: What do you need? Is there anything we can do?
Amara: Only one thing. Come here. Let me look at you. My three brave, beautiful sons.
(The healer enters the room with a cup of water for Amara.)
Healer: And they moved heaven and earth to bring you back.
Amara: Bring me back? From where? Where was I?
Cyrus: You were badly burned. (The healer picks up one of the waterskin from the ground spilling water on the floor.) We didn't think you'd make it.
Amara: But I did. Yet I don't understand how.
Rafi: It was magic that saved you. (Cyrus and Taj give Rafi a look.)
Amara: Magic? From where?
Rafi: Uh, the Well of Wonders.
Cyrus: We didn't have a choice.
Amara: Tell me exactly what you did.
Cyrus: We stole it - the water.
Amara: Oh, Cyrus, no.
Cyrus: The Guardian said that you couldn't be save. But look, you're healed.
Amara: Did all three of you take the water? Then you need to leave. All of you, right now!
Cyrus: Leave? Wha- Why?
Amara: Hurry. There isn't much time. It is the only way you'll be safe.
Cyrus: Safe from what? (The spill water bubbles.)
Amara: She's coming for you. Whatever you don't stop until you're out of Agrabah. (Nyx rises from the puddle of water. Appearing behind them all.) If you lucky you'll be gone before she realizes. We can't have her find you. (Amara pauses seeing Nyx standing behind her sons. She runs to Nyx.) I'm begging you. Have mercy. They're my children. (Nyx walks past Amara towards the brothers. There's a loud bang of thunder.)
Nyx: You let your desires override the Fates. Now, it will be your fate to serve the desires of others. (An orange cloud envelopes Rafi and Taj and they are sucked into nearby bottles.)
Amara: My boys! Cyrus! (The orange cloud covers Cyrus.)
Cyrus: I'm sorry, momma. Forgive me. (Cyrus is sucked into a bottle.)
Amara: No! (With a flash of light three bottles disappear.)
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Wonderland Castle. Dungeon. The Jabberwocky is playing with a Knave's genie bottle.
Jabberwocky: Fascinating. Isn't it? On the outside it's nothing special. Nothing out of the ordinary. But inside...a prize more valuable than...gold. Just like that head of yours. Nothing particularly interesting on the outside but inside... If was to dig deep enough, there's no telling what treasures you've been hiding. So, let's find out. Shall we? Little pig, little pig, let me come in. I don't want to hurt you. I want to help you. You've suffered so much. You've already lived a life of fear, haven't you? You believe that if the Prince had chosen you instead of your stepsister then your mother would have loved you. And now you fear that love is forever out of reach. And that deep, dark hole in your heart will remain empty. A hollow reminder of the life you could've had. (Jabberwocky laughs.) Can you feel me inside that head of yours. Drifting from room to room. I can see everything. There's a darkness in you. It's like a disease. It's rotting you from the inside. You ran away from the only love you ever had and now you fear...you'll never get it back. (Jabberwocky looks at Jafar and he nods signalling to Jabberwocky. She grabs the Red Queen by the face.) You and I have something in common now. We both now exactly who you are! (The Red Queen ears begin to bleed.) And you're terrified. It's only a matter of time before he knows too. You can't ever get his love back. But that's not really what you want, is it? Or you would've don that crown all those years ago. You made the right choice. Do it again. Wish for your precious, precious crown. Go on. Wish for your crown. And all your suffering goes away.
Knave: Don't do it, Ana. (Jafar throws his staff in the direction of Knave and he lets go a cry of pain.)
Jabberwocky: Argh. Wish for your crown. And all his suffering goes away.
Red Queen: I wish for my crown! (The crown appears on her head.)
Jabberwocky: Good. Now wish for...your jewels. Go on.
Red Queen: I wish for my jewels. (Her jewels appear.)
Jabberwocky: Aw. Doesn't she look pretty. Now wish for me to stop.
Jabberwocky: Go on.
Red Queen: (whispers into the Jabberwocky's ear.) I wish for you to stop. (Knave is surrounded by orange smoke and sucked into the bottle.)
Jafar: Wish granted. As I said...I always get what I want.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Wonderland Castle. Dungeon. The Red Queen is sobbing in her cell.
Tweedledum: (whispers) Your Majesty. I apologize. I wanted to come sooner but I've been hiding and keeping to the tunnels. Because if Jafar knew I was in the castle... (He takes a deep breath and smiles.) Now, I brought you something. (Tweedle unwraps a piece of cloth with bread inside.) I know it's not much. That's all I could manage considering the circumstances. (He places in the bread next to her.) Now that you're here, we can leave this place together. Now there must be a way I can open your...
Red Queen: Why are you doing this?
Tweedledum: Your my Queen, Your Majesty.
Red Queen: Not anymore. You have to warn Alice and Cyrus. Go to the Outlands and tell them it's over. Jafar's released the Jabberwocky. He has Will. He has all three bottles. Wonderland is doomed and I let it happen. Tell them they must get out of Wonderland and as fast as they can and not look back.
Tweedledum: And what about you?
Red Queen: Forget about me.
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Idyllic Garden. Well of Wonders. Cyrus stares into the water. He hears rustling in the grass. He turns around to see Alice.
Alice: I thought you'd need some help.
Cyrus: You followed me. How much did you see?
Alice: Why didn't you tell me?
Because...I was afraid I'd lose you.
Cyrus: Everything that's happened here is my fault. The curse, the bottles, Jafar. All of your suffering. It's all punishment for mistakes that I've made.
Alice: Everybody has things they wish they could take back. Everybody makes mistakes.
Cyrus: Not you.
Alice: I gave up on us. Before Will and the Rabbit brought me to Wonderland. Before they told me you were alive. I was in an asylum and I agree to something...this procedure that would erase my memory this place. And of you...forever. I wanted to forget all about you. About all our adventures just hurt too much to remember. (Cyrus hugs Alice.)
Cyrus: You fell in love with a genie, Alice. What if it's the bottle that made me a better man. Now that I'm out--
Alice: Then I'll be your bottle. Cyrus, if we live our lives looking to the past we will never be able to move forward. To our future together. What is it?
Cyrus: Someone once told me, all things happen for a reason. I think I'm starting to believe it.
Alice: C'mon. If you mother is indeed alive we need to find her. I think it's high tide we meet. (Alice and Cyrus leave the Well hand in hand.)
SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Wonderland Castle. Jafar caresses his serpent staff.
Jafar: You thought I couldn't do this alone, Amara. How wrong you were.
Jabberwocky: Was she? I seem to remember you calling upon me for some much needed reinforcement.
Jafar: And I seem to remember removing that Vorpal Blade from your gut! And action I can easily reverse. Soon I'll have everything I've ever wanted. And there's not a person in this world or any other that will be able to stop me. (Jafar places the bottles together. The room begins to rumble. Jafar opens his Genie wisdom book.) So...let's being.
