Dalila Bela is the Canadian actress who portrays Young Guinevere on ABC's Once Upon a Time.


Dalila Bela has been acting since she was five years old. One of her favorite activities as a toddler was to impersonate and memorize the lines of her favorite characters on TV.[1] Her two younger brothers,[2] Bruce Salomon and Raphael Alejandro, are also actors.[3] One of her early acting jobs was a Canadian National commercial at the age of six. After that, she and her family moved to Vancouver where she continued to pursue her acting career.[1] She landed her first television roles[1] in 2009[4] with the Fringe episode "Fracture", where she played Jenny Burgess,[5] and the Supernatural episode "I Believe the Children Are Our Future", where she plays a Little Girl.[6]

Dalila is best known for her starring role as Agent Olive in the children's series Odd Squad as well as her feature film role as Taylor Pringle in the comedy films Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days.[4] She has also played supporting roles in movies such as the 2010 action film The Stranger,[7] the 2012 horror film Grave Encounters 2 and the 2013 comedy That Burning Feeling.[4] She voices the main character of Sydney in the animated children's series Ready Jet Go![8] and plays the recurring role of Diana Barry in the television series Anne with an E,[9] based on Lucy Maud Montgomery's famous novel Anne of Green Gables. Other roles of notes includes guest appearances on TV shows like The 100, The Tomorrow People and Mr. Young, and TV movies such as A Fairly Odd Christmas, Twist of Faith and the animated movie Positively Ozitively. She also plays a lead role in 2017 family film The Adventure Club with Billy Zane and Kim Coates.[2]

Dalila loves to travel and enjoys a variety of hobbies including guitar, singing, reading and creative writing.[2]


  • Her little brother Raphael Alejandro portrays Roland on Once Upon a Time. The show creators didn't know about their connection until after Dalila started filming.[10]
  • She is fluent in four languages: English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.[2]
