Christopher Gauthier is the Canadian actor who portrays William Smee and Smee (Wish Realm) on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Christopher Gauthier was born on January 27, 1976[1] in the small town of Dunstable in Bedfordshire and moved to Armstrong, British Columbia when he was five years old. His family has background in the arts, and he found his own creativity after seeing a play at a young age.[2] Christopher was in elementary school when he saw a local theater production of Sing A Song of Sixpence, and began thinking about becoming an actor.[3]

He began appearing in plays, which became more of a serious outlet for him in high school. Wanting to hone his skills, he started taking acting lessons in Vernon School of Speech and Drama and took part in a festival circuit at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. He had dreams of pursuing a future in acting, but was unmotivated. Luckily, Christopher was helped by his wife, who brought him to Vancouver and he began chasing after a career in film.[2]

Agent Cody Banks, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Edison and Watchmen are among Christopher's feature film credits. On the small screen, he has appeared in a variety of made-for-television movies as well as such series as Cold Squad, DaVinci's Inquest, Psych and Smallville, first playing a LuthorCorp technician in the episode Delete, and then later guest-starring in two more episodes as Winslow Scott a.k.a. Toyman. His other genre roles include Walter "The Adjustor" in Sanctuary's Hero, and Ronald Reznick in the Supernatural episodes "Nightshifter" and "Are You There, God? It's Me...Dean Winchester".[3]
