Christie Laing

Christie Laing is the Canadian actress who portrays Marian on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Biography

Christie Laing grew up in White Rock, British Columbia. She is of Belizean and British descent, Laing was a flight attendant and runner up to Miss Richmond. Laing and her two younger sisters, Nikki and Paige, grew up dancing until she focused on her acting career and changed her priorities.

Christie Laing is an accomplished actress who has worked in both television, short films and movies. Her guest starring roles have been on Arrow, Supernatural, Smallville and The 4400.^{[citation needed]}

Christie's film credits include Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Scary Movie 4.^{[citation needed]}

Trivia

During her appearance in the Once Upon a Time episodes "There's No Place Like Home", "A Tale of Two Sisters", "Rocky Road", "Heroes and Villains" and "Heart of Gold", Christie portrayed Marian as the disguised form of Zelena.
Acts opposite fellow Once Upon a Time actress Rose McIver on the iZombie episodes "Brainless in Seattle, Part 1", "Brainless in Seattle, Part 2" and "My Really Fair Lady" where Laing plays a policewoman who works in the same precinct as Rose's character, Liv Moore.
After the announcement that the seventh season would be the final season of the series, she wrote the following on Twitter and Instagram:
