Emma: What the hell are we doing here?
August: I think you know. You've been here before. This is the diner you were brought to when you were found as a baby.

Chantey's Lobster House is a Land Without Magic location featured on ABC's Once Upon a Time. It first appears in the twentieth episode of the first season.

Before First Curse

Pinocchio and Emma are sent to the Land Without Magic via a magic wardrobe. The two of them come out of a tree in the woods outside Storybrooke. Pinocchio brings the infant Emma to Chantey's Lobster House to seek help. To protect Emma, he lies to the police about where he found Emma and tells them that he found the baby by the highway. ("The Stranger", "Save Henry")

Shortly after this, a local newspaper runs a story about baby Emma and how she was found on a roadside by Chantey's Lobster House. Emma keeps the article in her file, while Pinocchio and the Snow Queen, who are both keeping an eye on her, also keep a clipping of the article. "True North", "The Stranger", "Family Business", "Firebird")

During First Curse

In 2009, Emma drives the yellow bug to the diner where she was found as an infant twenty-six years ago. She parks her car and shows the article to the shop keeper, asking if there are anyone working there who might remember information about the baby that was brought in. However, the woman behind the counter says that 26 years is too long, as they can't even keep a cook for six week. Emma asks if a long-time customer might remember something, but the woman explains that they don't have that kind of loyalty and that she won't find anyone there who remembers this. Meanwhile, a woman joins the line behind Emma while keeping an eye on her. Emma takes her food and walks round to the sitting area, where she sits alone and looks at the article. The woman Cleo, orders a drink and sits down with Emma and strikes up a conversation. Cleo correctly guesses that Emma is the baby that was abandoned. As Emma turns to leave, Cleo uses her intuition again, this time to reveal she knows Emma stole from stores in Phoenix, got arrested and skipped bail. Realizing the woman means to apprehend her, Emma flees to her car while Cleo follows slowly, only to find Cleo has already put a boot on the tire. After Emma is caught by Cleo, she is taken to a motel and handcuffed to the bedpost. Emma pick locks the handcuff prepares to leave quietly, but then, she spots Cleo's laptop has access to courthouse documents. Through browsing, she discovers the Hancock County Courthouse has a file on her. In a deal, Emma agrees to return to Phoenix, if Cleo helps her get the file. Emma finds the same article in her file, which turns up with barely anything. Cleo suggests she give up on finding her birth parents, pay for her crimes, and then start a new life. ("Firebird")

August takes Emma out of Storybrooke, to the diner Emma was taken to as a baby. Emma wonders why they are in the woods and August explains that this is where she was found as a baby. He confesses that he was the seven-year-old boy who found her, but Emma does not believe him and points out that she wasn't found in the woods, where the diner is located, but by the highway. August shows her the old article about her and admits that he lied about finding her by the highway, but Emma believes that he's lied to her about everything. He tries to convince her that he is telling the truth, by revealing information that isn't in the article: That when he found her, she was wrapped in a blanket with her name embroidered on it. Emma asks him why he lied to the police and August answers that he did it in order to protect her, and takes her to the tree they both came through from the Enchanted Forest. He introduces himself as Pinocchio and shows her his wooden leg in order to prove his identiry, but Emma's denital is so strong that she sees nothing but a normal leg. He confronts Emma with the truth—that she is the savior and must save everyone from the Dark Curse, but his attempts at making Emma believe fails She flat out refuses to be responsible for everyone else's happiness, and then leaves. ("The Stranger")

After Second Curse
Emma breaks into the Snow Queen's ice cream truck and uncover a newspaper clipping of the article about how Pinocchio found Emma, as a baby, by Chantey's Lobster House; proving the Snow Queen has been watching the savior from the start. ("Family Business")
