Protected Pages

This category lists all protected pages on the Once Upon a Time Wiki.

Move Protection

• This icon identifies pages that are move protected.
• "Move Protection" means a page is protected from being moved, or renamed. Only admins are able to rename pages with this protection level.
• All pages are move protected, and are not listed in this category.

Full Protection

• This icon identifies pages that are permanently fully protected.
• "Full Protection" means a page is protected from being edited by registered or unregistered users. Only admins are able to rename pages with this protection level.
• This level of protection is given to pages that are involved with the running of the wiki, such as the policies and the staff pages.

Semi Protection

• This icon identifies pages that are semi protected. This may be permanent or temporary.
• "Semi Protection" means a page is protected from being edited by new (account less than three days old) or unregistered users.
• This level of protection is given to pages that are susceptible to vandalism by unregistered users (such as transcripts) or pages that have been recently vandalized.

Temporary Protection

• This icon identifies pages that are temporarily fully protected.
• This level of protection is the same as "Full Protection".
• This level of protection is given to pages that have been vandalized, and will usually expire in 24-48 hours, at the protecting admin's discretion.
• This level of protection is given to various high traffic pages shortly before and during a new episode airing. This includes the airing episode's page, along with any major characters, locations, and items appear in it. This prevents spoilers and edit wars. These pages are unlocked once the episode is finished airing in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States. This new episode locking occurs at 7 PM, Eastern Time, and ends at 9 PM, Eastern Time.
• This level of protection is given to pages that are involved in an edit war. An edit war occurs when a specific addition/deletion is undone more than 3 times in a 24 hour period. When this occurs, the page will be locked for 24-48 hours so the issue can be resolved by the editors involved. The specific time of expiration is at the protecting admin's discretion.

Protected Files and Templates

• This icon identifies templates and images that are fully protected.
• This level of protection is the same as "Full Protection".
