Caroline Morahan is the Irish actor who portrays Queen Elinor on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Biography

Caroline Morahan was born on August 11,[1] 1977.[2] She enrolled into drama school at a very young age.[4] As a child, her mother unbeknownst to Caroline, would not inform her of specific roles, noting that she didn't want her daughter, who was very young at the time, to be in an adult working environment.[4]

Her acting break came in the form of Fair City, a soap opera. She was offered a three-year contract with them, but opted to finish her school instead.[4] She attended Dublin City University and acquired a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies.[5] After graduating, she made a switch from acting to hosting. Her work included; The Fame Game,[6] Off the Rails[7] and The Podge and Rodge Show.[8]

Caroline made the move back to acting and appeared in the musical play, I, Keano. She has also appeared in The Real O'Neals and Fir Bolg. In 2010, she became the face of Littlewoods, a football betting company.[9]

She is married to Daithi Ó Caoimh.[10]
