Eddy anf Adam gave an interview with TVLine, where they spoke about the rest of the season. One of the thing they confirmed was Ariel's return, within the first few episodes. The also hinted, at what Cruella's powers might be.

I think the villians and heroes should gang up on the Author, if that's the case.
You're right. I assumed some people got a happy ending in the EF, but really, no one did. Except for Granny who got Red back. But even Red lost Peter, Anita AND Graham.

That was the irony of the Evil Queen's curse. Regina was tired of loosing to Snow White, so she decided to steal everyone's happy endings.... but what she really did, was give everyone - including herself - their happily ever afters.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, there were a handful of people who did have their happy endings taken away by the Curse. Jiminy was reverted back to a human, Geppetto had to abandon Pinocchio, and Granny and Red got their relationship destroyed. And then obviously Snow got her husband stabbed and her child sent away. But no one was happy at that point.
Actually, people rarely got their Happy Ending in EF pre curse.
Snow White had to give up her child and her prince got stabbed.
Geppetto gave up Pinocchio.
Cinderella lost her prince.
Aurora was put under a Sleeping Curse.
Belle was a prisoner.
Ariel never got her prince and lost her voice.
Hensel and Gretel lost their father and got stuck in the infinite forrest.
Jefferson lost his daughter and got stuck in Wonderland
Alice was seperated from syrus.
Tinkerbelle lost her wings.
I bet there are more which I don't remeber...
So, who decided that the heroes always win and get their Happy Ending? Clearly that is not the case...

Well, had the Curse never hit, Gepetto and Snow would've had their happy endings. But I agree that NO one ever had happy endings lol
Rose Mclver would like to return: http://www.vulture.com/2015/04/rose-mciver-on-izombie.html
She'd like to make a guest appearance and they've talked to Adam and Eddy to see if it's possible... but at this point I'd say no, not sure how many days ago this interview was, but shooting for season 4B is over, so we'll have to wait until season 5?
I would very much like to have Rose McIver back.

And actually, if this Peddler has still something to do with Aladdin, that would be the best way to bring Jafar back (Adam said #nospoilers when asked about his return).
Can please link me the tweet where he said no spoilers about Jafar's return.
