Wouldn't that make Killian the ruler of all the oceans?
I was actually thinking maybe Rumple, then I remembered that he is Henry's grandfather, so that would mean if Lily is Maleficent's daughter she would be Neal's half-sister and therefore Henry's auntÂ
No, just an arrogant jerk and an assassin. Maybe that's why the mermaids wanted to kill him in Neverland, lol. Killing the ruler doesn't mean you become the ruler. I mean how would Hook live underwater anyway.

I read an interview where it said that whatever Hook did to Ursula was soul crushing.
Obviously, whatever Killian did to Ursula is weighing heavy on his mind, and he is ashamed (at least now that he is truly trying to reform) of whatever happenend.
But how does he know Maleficent, he recgonized her when he fought her in the cave in The Evil QueenÂ

The father (mother?) is obviously Ursula. As Maleficent said to Ursula when she first came to her castle in episode 4x12, "I'm the person whose valet you either knocked out, strangled, or tried to impregnate. I don't know what those tentacles are for. "
The octopus has a certain modified arm, also know as the hectocotylus, which is about one meter long and holds rows of sperm pockets, called spermatophores. Next, the octopus usually inserts the arm into the female's oviduct, also known cavity, or completely disassemble the arm from the male to be stored in her mantle for a period of time. If the female chooses the second option, she will then remove the arm and spread the sperm cells on her eggs to be fertilized.
I must disagree with this particular theory. Â the hectocotylus is only found on male octopi, not the female. Â and Ursula is clearly Female.
still, though, very creative thought.

Think out of the box... A female form does not necessarily make a female be. And in the lore about witches, covens, demons, Gods etc. do NOT follow strict gender lines. Of course this being Disney/TV, I am certain that you are correct and they would never go this route.
Actually, the title for episode 4x14, "Enter the Dragon" reminded me of the Hong Kong "Dragon" from season 1. How did he end up in the LWM? Maybe he was Maleficent mate? Maybe what the Charmings did to Maleficent was not only make her lose the 'baby', get sucked up by the dark curse but also ripped away her true love?
