What could this episode be about, and who is the backstory about? It looks like it could be in the land without color, but I don't know. Any ideas?

Okay, I agree Regina and Rumple are great as villains. I just tend to cheer the heroes on. But, Once wouldn't be the same without Lana and Robert... So I think they are just two characters I love to hate x)
I can't speak for anyone else, but personally, I'm not saying I dislike OuaT because of the characters... I'm just disappointed in the show right now because they're putting so much of an emphasis on the relationships and not enough on the actual storyline and as far as my opinion goes, it's hurting the series (I've read numerous comments and have had several conversations with people saying the show no longer interests them). The scene last night in Dark Hollow could have been so much better and much more intriguing, but instead, they chose to focus on Neal and Hook fighting over a lighter, to impress Emma... We've spent so much time this season wading through triangles, on again/off again relationships and unrequited love stories that the story itself is suffering...
I realize OuaT focuses alot on love... on the power of it. But in the earlier episodes, there was much more depth to the characters and their relationships. Now, people "fall in love" instantaneously, without actual cause, and bounce between "true loves" like Pinball machines. It just seems like everything important is being rushed, to make room for these loony relationships and for me, it doesn't work. I would much rather have seen Ariel and Eric's love story drawn out of a series of episodes, than forced down our throats in roughly twenty minutes. I mean, come on... even in the Disney movie, Eric had to spend the day with Ariel before he started developing feelings for her. On Once, he danced with her... and suddenly he's inviting her to travel the world with him? 0_O That feels forced and rushed, even for a Fairytale. I wouldn't even have minded the whole Aurora/Mulan thing if it didn't feel like it happened overnight.
This is coming from a girl who won't read anything that doesn't have some semblance of romance in it... but Once is turning into a Soap Opera... and so much of it feels like catering to shipping fanbases, rather than something that actually fits into the story.
MulanxAurora actually was played out very well. They have been travelling together for god knows how long and probably shared emotions etc. Maybe something that we may see in another flashback episode (interesting a flashback episode of something happened after the curse)
Neal has always loved Emma, and Hook realized he could love again because of Emma. And if it weren't for Hook and Neal fighting there then it would have just been go in and out and they wouldn't have many problems. And because of the fight Emma used magic to lighten the coconut
Well, I admit The Legend of the Old Gregg was a more convincing mereperson-human love story than that.
Okay who else is thinking TinkerFire????
I was thinking BeaBell myself :D
Personally, I thought the Ursula Ball was a satire.
It was meant to be over-the-top, and the actors just rolled with it. Nothing about it, was meant to be taken too seriously. Actually, Eric asking Ariel to travel the world with him, was a reference to a scene in the Disney film.
We may see Ariel and Eric go on a date in Storybrooke, during the second half of the season. That would be more fun to watch, than if it were an Enchanted Forest flashback. Eric should just make sure not to try to teach Ariel, how to drive a car ;)
O looved when Ariel said "Look at this stuff" I was waiting for her to say "Isn't it neat" ;D
Also when Grumpy said after Granny got on Ariel about shoes?? Priceless!
I would love for Belle to convince Mr. Gold to hire Ariel, as his shop assistant. Ariel would be in seventh heaven, working there. The pawnshop has gadgets and gizmos of plenty, and thingamabobs galore!
Considering Regina's sense of humor, regarding everyone's counterparts.... Eric is, probably, a fishmonger. So, I doubt Ariel would want to hang out in a fish store, all day.

Yes Ariel working in Gold's shop would be epic for her ;)
And. C'mon Grumpyyyyy. You know you liked it ;D
