Plant the seed, see it grow, see it wilt, and remmeber the good....but do not talk about the finale (21 or 22).
Do not talk about the promo or 21 or 22 or "next episode" because the hammer's going to come down hard.

Plus, Storybrooke is an isolated town created by magic. Most of the resididents were aware of magic even if they didn't posess or use it themselves. Hyperion Heights is a neighborhood in Seattle, where numerous non-fairytale residents live. There was always a possiblitity that if magic was present there, it could have fallen into the wrong hands (like a LWM resident that has no prior experiences with magic), and would have messed up Gothel, Drizella or Facilier's plans.
Emma and hooks child would be older than Lucy at least a all I mean. Just my thoughts with reading all these responses to the timeline twists
I think the time still moves differently in the NEF so what could have been 8 years in the NEF, were far less in Storybrooke. That's why Regina and Hook hadn't aged a bit when they came to rescue Henry, even though he was siginificantly older. The timetravel twist didn't erase that plot point.
I know I complaint a lot about the show but I there something I liked from this ep (and I forgot to mention it because of the time travel mess)
I think this is Jared's best performance in the show so far
I've always thought his acting was a little bit plain, and his face acting didn't help. Sometimes he just would say a line showing like no emotion at all. Almost like reading the script
But in 7x20 I found his acting to be much stronger than what I can recall. I really the struggle he had between being a person of the LWM but also a descendant of the people from the EF
Good for him =)
Minor nitpick: When Henry wakes up from the curse, he gets nice flashbacks of Emma (well, eating the turnover was more iconic) and Ella, and stuffs, but as the Regina memory...it's from when she just trapped him back in her house with the branches? And forced him to stay? I mean, the highlight of that was to show her realizing that she's been a bad mother, like her mother, but why was that Henry's memory of Regina? Unless there's something deeper here...

They picked easily available chips for the editor to splice together. Zelena’s made it seem like she was going to wake up wicked.

The thing I disliked about the inter-curse awakenings was that the "when I'm done Regina" clip was placed after her redemption arc clips, it just didn't fit. A better fit would've been replacing it completely with her and Regina hugging after Cora moved on to Olympus. Or any moment with her and Regina being affectionate and "sisterly".
Either they weren't in touch for a couple of years or they noticed they went missing but didn't know where or how. Future Emma and co. aren't relevant

Because maybe no time has passed for them.
If they left Wednesday November 15th in year 2022 and come back on Thursday November 16th in the year 2022, no one would notice.

Exactly. Like Emma and Hook in 3x21-3x22. They went to the past, spent a couple of days there and then returned to the present and just a few seconds had passed since they left.
