Drizella's life has been anything but calm -- growing up without her mother only for her to return years later, and for their relationship to be forever damaged; being really good friends with her sister only for them to be separated after Anastasia's apparent death. And finally -- being manipulated by a dangerous coven to cast a curse supposedly to get revenge on her mother only to find out, as Lady Tremaine died, that she loved her daughter all along. But now, Drizella thinks she finally has a chance of moving on as she and her sister have ended up in the past, long before she ever cast the curse.
However, as the day of the casting of the curse arrives and their world is about to become empty as all inhabitants will be taken from their homes because of the dangerous spell, Drizella and Anastasia plan to leave to join their stepsister in her realm; however, their plans go awry as another curse, cast by the same coven that manipulated her all those years ago, brings people from a real world city and makes them believe they're fairytale characters. Now trapped in the role of Rapunzel but keeping her memories, Drizella must find a way to escape the tower and find her sister before the witches can achieve their mysterious endgame.
