Andrea Brooks

Andrea Brooks is the Canadian actor who portrays Charlotte on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Biography

Andrea Brooks is a former figure skater. When she was fifteen years old, there was an open casting call for the 2005 Disney figure-skating film Ice Princess. She decided to give it a try and was up for the lead, but lost to Michelle Trachtenberg. However, she ended up getting an agent out of it and her acting career began.^[2]

Andrea is best known for her role as nurse Faith Carter on the drama series When Calls the Heart^[2] and Eve Teschmacher on the superhero action-adventure drama Supergirl.^[3] Other roles of notes includes Tanya in the drama series UnREAL and appearances on iZombie, Supernatural and the Hallmark series Signed, Sealed, Delivered.^[4]

Trivia

Acts opposite fellow Once Upon a Time actors Rose McIver and Max Lloyd-Jones on the iZombie episode "Mr. Berserk," an episode which also features Matthew MacCaull (Knight #1). Max Lloyd-Jones plays a suspect in a murder that Rose McIver's character is investigating, while Andrea plays Max's lover.
Acts opposite Once Upon a Time co-star Thomas Cadrot ("Aesop" in "A Wondrous Place") in the Hallmark movie In the Key Of Love, where Andrea plays Cadrot's fiance.^[5]
Has Bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of British Columbia.^[4]
