Yes. We do get a backstory on Henry. Emma gave him up for adoption when she was eighteen. Regina adopted him when he was a few weeks old. Snow gave him the book when he was I believe 11 and from that point it was all about finding his bio mom and breaking the curse

Are we talking Regina or Evil Queen? Because I think the black fairy would win if it were Regina but if it were the evil queen I could totally see her winning. But then again Regina has light magic too so maybe she would win? Good question!
