If true love is so rare how come:
-Snow and Charming
-Emma and Hook
-Regina and Robin
-Zelena and Hades
And more all have it?
Just a thought I had but Kronos was killed with the Olympian Crystal. We know Mount Olympus is the place souls go to upon leaving the Underworld if they don't go to the Worse Place.
The Olympian Crystal originally destroyed the souls of those it killed before the writers retconned it by saying Hades was lying and with Robin's spirit showing up later on.
So if the Crystal doesn't actually destroy souls, would that mean Kronos' soul went to another place beyond even Mount Olympus after he died or is he just wandering around Mount Olympus as a spirit? Or would his soul actually have been destroyed and he now ceases to exist?
Does the Crystal only kill mortals and other non-deities and send their souls to the Underworld, Olympus or Worse Place and erase the souls of deities from existence entirely?
So multiple times people call Hades the Devil and he says he isn't, nor a demon. So does this mean the Devil (Lucifer/Satan) is real? Was he really an Angel and If so is God, along side Angels real in some realm. Could He rule the region people go to, the worse hell. Or is he simply saying that he isn't the Devil from the myths. Could he also have been some powerful magician that was banished to hell?
Consistent with on-screen information and the stories on which they are based, Zeus, Hades and their father Kronos originate from the dominion of the Greek gods, Mount Olympus.
However, Poseidon, one of the "big three" gods and brother to Zeus and Hades is not included due to lack of on-screen or canon references. Poseidon is instead listed as an EF character. Similarly, the sea goddess of old, Ursula is listed as an EF character. However, in the cases of both Poseidon and Ursula, I believe that there is a severe lack of any backstory that allows us to credit them as EF characters. As there is also lack of evidence to list Poseidon as coming from Mount Olympus (though a logical conclusion), and lack of any backstory for Ursula, I propose that we list both as neutral characters.
Hey, I had a doubt about what people believe in regards to why Storybrooke and the Underworld look alike. The theory some of us believe, that Storybrooke is meant to resemble the Underworld, was mentioned onscreen by Regina. Hades, on the other hand, claims to have redecorated the Underworld to look like Storybrooke in honor of Zelena. We know, however, that Hades has lied on several occasions. They even implied he lied about what the Olympian crystal did to Robin, so do we believe he was telling the truth to Zelena or was he just flirting?
Feel free to discuss as well!
I'd love if we all shared some opinions here, but also I realize that this may be seen as a whiny and childish rant, which I am ashamed of if it is (and I truly apologize in advance).
I am beyond tired of this constant zigzagging the writers are putting us through. The entire 19th episode ruined a lot for me and made the season absolutely nonsensical. Is Fiona the ultimate evil or not? What's with her claim of inventing dark magic if Nimue was born first and became the Dark One? Why is everyone calling her "the most powerful enemy" and "the ultimate villain" (even the cast and the writers) when that's not true?
Gold said "That Dark Curse - it and all the darkness you've ever faced was born under one twisted soul - the Black Fairy." Implying that she was the beginning of evil in the universe.
How can that be possible if she
1. was a kind woman who just wanted to save her child the whole time
2. got sucked into the dark realm by one spell from Blue's wand
3. again, was not the start of dark magic, being born long after Nimue
4. is yet another tragic villain (I'm getting tired of tragic villains)
5. retreats after being hit by a car?
Did everyone suddenly forget Hades, an actual god?
And lastly, I was praying that they wouldn't make the final villain of the storybook a tragic one but I knew what they were going to do and they went and did it - made her sad and made it all Blue's fault once again. And this killed her character in my eyes. Is it too much to ask to have a complete monster for the final boss?
Hades is reading a book in episode 5x14. It is quite clearly in the shot in a scene almost at the end of the episode. Anyone able to tell me which book it was? The title should be clear on the cover, I just could not make it out.
He said the Olympian Crystal erases the souls of those it kills, but as noted on Robin Hood's page, he was lying about that coz the writers said Robin is in Olympus now.
So, does that mean Hades is back in the underworld because of his unfinished business with Zeus? Did he go straight to hell for some reason (either coz gods don't go to the underworld on death or coz the crystal sends those it kills straight to their eternal resting place)? Or, does the crystal actually erase gods' souls completely where it doesn't for humans?
I assume that the Underworld storyline is now overe. Here are my Pro's and Cons of this arc.
Pros: Revisit dead characters, Snow becoming a badass again (my opinion anyway), Cruella and Blind Witch's ending (nice to see the villains get a happy ending of sorts for once), awesome villain, better concentration on core cast
Cons: Not enough dead characters (e.g. Merlin, all the people Regina killed, etc), barely delve into greek mythology, no appearence from deities Ursula and Poseidon who we've already seen, no Hades backstory (just told to us), not enough time (this arc should've been a whole season in my opinion), redeemed Zelena (happened way too quickly in my opinion, should've taken time), WAY too much Captain Swan for me (like them in small doses), Hades death (underwhelming for me)
What did everyone else think about this arc?
