What theories do you have about who you think Lucy's mother is. Do people think its an established character, or a new one? Is she a specific fairytale/story character character, or just a random character?

In a short space of screentime, we have seen a few parallels already: Lucy meeting Henry/Henry meeting Emma + Henry not knowing about Lucy/Neal not knowing about Henry

I personally think she will initially seem unimportant, but then we find out she is a character of significance (like Neal), though I dont have any specific theory on who she is.

I think Pocahontas would be a great choice! I would love to see her on the show. She is such a strong and interesting character. The show could then build a connection between her and Tiger Lily, who already has a connection to Lucy, as they are both native Americans as well.

I personally am hoping for Odette from Swan Lake. It would make a swan story front and center of the show again, and Henry can play the role of Siegfried. And then we don't have to shoehorn in a Disney princess/woman, so the character can be mostly original with just a bit of the fairy tale story. Also, I'd still like to see the Disney princesses/women people have mentioned, just not as Lucy's mom.

Agree. I think it would be better than Tiana.

How about we take this theory one step farther.... Lucy's mother is actually Odile.

Oooo, the plot thickens. XD

That could work as well, I guess. I mean Henry is desended from Rumple and raised by Regina, so I wouldn't be surprised if he fell for someone that is somewhat dark.

I wish the girl could play double role of Odette and Odile. And I also hope they will make it two different people since we already have a Light Swan/Dark Swan arc.

Or if they are twins or something. So same actress, but different characters. Although I don't know if it's too similar to David and James.

Wait, Tiana is not Latina, she's African-American, right? (and she's married to Naveen now) So, my vote goes for Moana (but she's old because her story was set thousands of years ago but ok)

Rapunzel was Caucasian, but they made her black. She married Flynn Rider, but they made her single and had David fill the role of her prince. They could easily change Tiana's ethnicity and love interest.

Moana is also not Latina/Hispanic, she's Polynesian. So she might be single, but they'd still have to change her ethnicity, which would be harder since her entire story is based on her being Polynesian. And her age doesn't matter; Cruella is from a world where they're constantly in the 1920s. Snow White stayed 28-30 for twenty-eight years. Etc.
